This February marks six months of this beautiful journey of connecting with our community of first born.

Using this sacred time to wait, pray and celebrate our unique position in our families .

This has helped us understand our leadership identity, addressing the pressure and emotional burden often placed on firstborns.

At the centre of this,has been God who place the call on us to gather and share our thoughts and experiences.

Giving Him all the glory for grafting us into His will.

First born connect first meeting of the year.
Pressure is a privilege and first-borns often feel it first.

Responsibility becomes a calling.
Pressure becomes preparation.

And through it, God shapes strength, patience, and leadership.

What feels heavy is often holy.
It’s not punishment its purpose.

Join us next month to wait on our maker and beak bread together .

God is still in the midst of his creation and still hears and answer’s prayers.

Sometimes ago the Lord impressed on my heart to start a fellowship with first borns in my community .

This was started four months ago we keep growing stronger together every time we meet .

First Born Connect is a unique platform designed to support, encourage, and equip firstborns as they navigate the responsibilities of leadership, influence,family expectations and strengthening leaders from the frontline of their families.

Recognizing that firstborns often carry invisible weight serving as examples, defenders, decision-makers, and bridges within their families.

First Born Connect creates a safe community where we can grow, heal, and thrive.

This initiative celebrates the strength, resilience, and sacrificial spirit that firstborns embody, while also addressing the challenges that come with being the first line of responsibility.

Through conversations, mentorship, shared experiences, and capacity building sessions, prayers we can be accountable to each other, gain clarity through the word of God , emotional balance, and practical tools to lead well.

What First Born Connect Stands For
Identity & Purpose: Helping firstborns understand their unique wiring, leadership grace, and role in shaping generational values.

Emotional Strength: Providing support for the unspoken pressures that come with being the “example” and pillar in the home.

Growth & Mentorship: Creating spaces to learn, unlearn, grow, and connect with other firstborns who understand their journey.

Legacy Building: Inspiring firstborns to transform their natural leadership position into a purpose driven influence that positively impacts families, communities, and society.

Firstborns are statistically more likely to become leaders.
A large-scale study by the University of Leipzig (2015) found that firstborns are more likely to take on leadership and managerial positions.

They often develop stronger communication and responsibility skills because they’re used to guiding younger siblings, which builds natural confidence and initiative.

Firstborns tend to have slightly higher IQs than their siblings.
According to research published in the Journal of Human Resources (2007), firstborns typically score 2–3 points higher on IQ tests. This isn’t genetic.

It’s due to early parental focus and the learning boost they get by teaching younger siblings.

Our third first born connect held yesterday and it was nothing just of Holy Spirit filled moments.

Every first borns needs a quiet moment of prayer and waiting on The Lord.

Introducing our new project Firstborn Connect. Firstborns holds significant spiritual role and unique connection to God.

Understanding this connection involves recognizing the potential for both great strength and unique vulnerability within the family lineage.

In view of the above we believe first borns should not be alone when they need prayers, where to meet, connect and communicate shared values .

This isn’t just another meeting. It’s a space where we, as firstborns, can come together like family.

You know, being the firstborn comes with its own weight, expectations, responsibilities, and sometimes even silent battles.

But here, we’re not carrying those things alone. This is where we share, pray, laugh, and grow together.

The whole vision behind Firstborn Connect is simple: to remind us that we’re not just firstborns in our families but leaders in the making.

people God has trusted with influence.

As we connect here, we’ll find strength, encouragement, and wisdom to keep walking in that role with love and courage.

So let’s open our hearts, be real with one another, and enjoy the blessing of each meeting .
