HASKE SUPPORT FOUNDATION CONDUCTS AWARENESS AND EMPOWERMENT OUTREACH IN YAKANAJI COMMUNITY, JOS
As part of its continued commitment to community development and humanitarian service, Haske Support Foundation, under the leadership of Hajiya Maryam Shehu Nabage (Uwar Marayu), carried out an awareness and empowerment outreach program in Yakanaji Community, Jos.
The outreach brought together mothers and adolescent girls for an interactive session focused on personal hygiene, menstrual health management, and the importance of self-care. The program aimed to equip participants with practical knowledge and guidance that would enable them to maintain healthy lifestyles and make informed decisions regarding their well-being.
Mothers were educated on the vital role they play in nurturing children with strong moral values, discipline, and good character. Young girls were also sensitized on menstrual hygiene, body care, self-respect, and the importance of protecting their dignity and future aspirations.
As part of the support provided, sanitary pads were distributed to young girls to promote proper menstrual hygiene and help them manage their monthly cycles with confidence and dignity. In addition, selected mothers received food items to support their households and encourage resilience in the face of economic challenges.
This outreach further demonstrates the unwavering dedication of Haske Support Foundation to improving the lives of women, children, orphans, widows, and vulnerable members of society. The Foundation remains actively engaged in various humanitarian initiatives, including educational support, payment of school fees for orphans and underprivileged children, distribution of learning materials, and community empowerment programs.
We pray that Almighty Allah continues to bless Haske Support Foundation and its leadership with wisdom, strength, good health, and the resources required to sustain these impactful humanitarian efforts for the benefit of humanity.
Signed:
