ANGUWAN ROGO CENTRAL CONCERNED YOUTH FORUM (ACCYF) HOLDS HER FIRST ANNUAL CONVENTION.
The meeting was held yesterday 29th Jan 2023 in Hayatul Islam Private School.
It was to revisit the goals and objectives of the forum and to rub minds with the members of the public on the theme that reads 'the journey so far,
successes, challenges and the way forward'
The theme was critically discussed, were activities of the forum such as welfare of the community, security, health, education, rehabilitation and public awareness among which 'orphanage' and helping the 'less-privilege' were heavily touched.
The meeting had the attendance of youth and community elders who were in the midst of religious, academicians, political and traditional leaders.
Awards of excellence were presented to some of these individuals,groups and local security for their support and contributions towards having a peaceful and developed community.
The awardees were chosen for their exemplary leadership, humanity and selflessness of burning themselves to light others.
Hon. Sulaiman Tameem who was one of the discussants at the event talked about 'peace' and the development it brings. He also talked about the need to come together to work in group rather than individual for the betterment of our community.
Inspector Ahmad Hamma who represented the DPO Anguwan Rogo Division, also reiterated on the peace and the numerous fruits it yield.
Mr. Victor Chasu, the ward head of Congo-Russia also commented extensively on the importance of peace.
In addition, the ward head of Anguwan Rogo C, Malam Aliyu Muhammad Danbadawai, thanked the organizers of the event for their selfless service to the community and also pledged his support anytime the need arises.
In conclusion, the leadership of ACCYF thanked and appreciate the invited guest for their time and support, the general public for their contributions and the good people of Anguwan Rogo Central.
