**Hello, my fellow Nigerian youths!**
**I AM Fwangwen Sandra Bamun,** the **Deputy Chief Whip and Member Representing Plateau Central at the Northern Youth Assembly of Nigeria.**
Let’s talk about something that affects all of us—**TAXES!** From the price of food and transport to the ease of running a business, tax policies shape our daily lives. But here’s the big question: **Are Nigeria’s tax policies actually working in our favor?**
Right now, new tax reforms are being introduced. The government says they will help fight inflation and improve the economy, but many Nigerians are worried they could **raise the cost of living and create financial struggles, especially for small businesses.**
We, the youth, **cannot afford to stay silent!** If we don’t speak up, decisions will be made without us. A stronger, more prosperous Nigeria is possible—but only if we help shape the policies that drive our economy.
**Tax reforms can unlock opportunities for young entrepreneurs, support innovation, and create jobs**—but only if they are designed with our future in mind!
Imagine a Nigeria where:
✅ **Startups and small businesses get tax breaks** to grow and create more jobs.
✅ **Essential goods like food and medicine are VAT-free**, making life more affordable.
✅ **Tax policies support innovation** in technology, agriculture, and manufacturing.
**This is the future we can build together!**
That’s why I’m inviting YOU to **The National Youth Dialogue on Tax Reform Policy**—a space to bring fresh, innovative ideas on how taxation can work for us, not against us. **Your voice matters!**
📅 **Date: 24th February 2025**
📍 **Venue: National Assembly Complex**
🕙 **Time: 10:00 AM**
**Let’s think beyond the problems—let’s create solutions!*
