*THREAT OF IMMINENT ATTACK ON KASSA COMMUNITY IN BARKIN LADI LGA*

1. At about 0939 hrs, avail intel revealed a possible attack on Kassa community in Barkin Ladi LGA of Plateau State. This was obtained from a local, overheard during a phone conversation claiming that a threat letter had been sent to residents of Kassa in Barkin Ladi LGA of Plateau State. According to the conversation, the letter warned the community to prepare for an impending attack, claiming that "not even the whole army barracks" would be able to prevent it.

*COMMENTS*

2. The report is based on overheard information and remains unverified. However, given the explicit nature of the alleged threat, it should be treated as an early warning and subjected to immediate verification. Tps of Sect 4 and other Sy agencies should enhance surveillance and int collection around Kassa, engage community leaders to confirm the existence of the alleged threat letter, and take appropriate preventive measures to reassure residents and deter any potential attack.
