What if one warm meal could remind someone that they're not forgotten?💚

Yesterday, the Food for Life Project, Jos reached the heart of Central Mosque, Jos South, Jos — serving not just food but dignity, hope and compassion.

In a world that often moves too fast to notice, we chose to pause... to give... to connect.

Every plate shared was a message: you matter, your story matters and you are not alone.

This is more than an outreach.
It's a movement of love in action— one meal, one smile, one life at a time.

Last weekend, We reached the girls at Simji Gird Child Empowerment Orphanage with more than just food... We shared presence, care and dignity.

We had a great time with the girls and it was nothing short of amazing🎉

Hunger knows no religion or faith.

At Jos Central Mosque (Machalachi Jummat), Jos North, we carried out another Food for Life outreach, sharing meals with members of the community who needed it most.

This outreach was intentional.

In a place known for prayer, reflection, and unity, food became a bridge—reminding us that care is a shared responsibility.

We didn’t just hand out meals; we showed up with respect, humility, and a commitment to human dignity.

Food is more than nourishment. For many, it is relief. For some, it is reassurance. For all, it is a reminder that they are seen and valued.

We spent time at Simji Girl Child Empowerment Orphanage as part of our Food for Life outreach😇

We shared a meal, sat with the girls, listened, laughed, and created space for warmth and connection🎊

Beyond the food, we shared moments of prayer and encouragement because nourishment is not only physical, it is emotional and spiritual too.

This outreach is a reminder that food is care, presence is love, and community is responsibility.

These girls are not defined by their circumstances, but by their strength, potential, and the futures they are growing into.

Yesterday, Food for Life ISKCON Jos visited the Simji Girl Child Orphanage in Jos South, Plateau State. We spent heartfelt time with the girls, listening to them, sharing warmth, and offering nutritious meals prepared in the spirit of devotion.

When we extend love, care, and nourishment to others, we help create a world filled with harmony and spiritual upliftment.

We pray that each child receives not only nourishment for the body but also blessings for the soul.

In the spirit of compassion and service taught by JOS Isckon (the International Society for Krishna Consciousness), the Food for Life Project continues to reach out to those in need sharing not just food, but warmth, love, and dignity.

On Saturday, our team took freshly baked bread to the streets of Jos, giving to the less privileged by the roadside. Each loaf represented more than nourishment; it was an offering of care, a reminder that every soul deserves kindness and that no one should go hungry.

This initiative reflects ISKCON’s timeless teaching that “no one within ten miles of a temple should go hungry.” Through Food for Life, we bring that principle to life; turning spiritual compassion into practical action.

Every smile we saw today reaffirmed that love shared is love multiplied.
