As part of Media Team Network Initiative - MTNI, Nigeria mandate to carry out research and documentation to provide critical Data and insight for policy making, Promotion of Justice and Peace Building MTNI in partnership with JDPC Maiduguri with the support of Aid to the church in Need (ACN International) organizes a comprehensive capacity training workshop for volunteers to track down and report accordingly incidence of crime and insecurity in plateau state and Bauchi states.
The workshop which drew participants from 14 local government areas of plateau and Bauchi states also served as an avenue to establish a network of volunteers data collectors who can provide real time data on incidence of violence and insecurity as it happens in their communities. Other expected outcomes to include improved Data quality and enhanced community engagements and safety.
