At Eco-friendly Africa Initiative (EFAI), our programme is more than just training—it's a movement of empowerment, inclusion, and hope.
In Mangu and Bokkos LGAs of Plateau State, over 300 Persons with Disabilities (PWDs) came together to build their capacity in conflict and disaster risk management learning how to detect early signs of danger and respond effectively.
But we didn’t stop there.
We gathered their voices through meaningful data, and yesterday, we brought those voices to the table—at a high-level policy roundtable and data validation workshop, where policymakers and stakeholders listened, discussed, and committed to change.
This wasn’t just a programme, it was a bold statement that disability inclusion is non-negotiable.
We're proud. We're inspired. We're just getting started.
