Today, WABI ACADEMY JAMA'ARE EMIRATE STUDENTS (WAJES), the association of Wabi Academy secondary school students, proudly celebrates its 4th anniversary since its establishment. Over the years, this great organization has built a rich and inspiring history that continues to leave a positive impact on its members and the community.
BRIEF HISTORY FOR WAJES
Wajes was created in 2022 by Sulaiman Ahmed Hafeez S.A. He gathered the students in order to create the WAJES union so that students could cooperate among themselves and find solutions to their problems.
Also, Sulaiman Ahmed Hafeez S.A met with some students, namely Abdulmumin Yusuf, Imrana Salihu, and Abubakar Idris, to discuss the formation of political parties. They created two parties:
A.S.P — meaning All Students Party
S.U.P — meaning Students Unity Party
After creating the parties, they provided candidates for both parties. The presidential candidates were:
Imrana Salihu contesting under the A.S.P party
Sulaiman Ahmed Hafeez S.A contesting under the S.U.P party
They organized their agenda, and the school management gave maximum cooperation by allowing a one-week campaign period.
After the campaign, they conducted the general election.
