TO: All PRIVATE Schools Principals, Parents, and other Stakeholders

REGISTRATION OF PRIVATE SCHOOL CANDIDATES

1st January, 2026 – 7th March, 2026

REGISTRATION OPENS FOR THE 2026 BECE, BAICE, QE & SAIQE EXAMINATIONS

This notice informs Principals and parents of candidates in Private Schools about the registration period for the following 2026 examinations conducted by KSSQAA:
✓Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE)
✓Basic Arabic & Islamic Certificate Examination (BAICE)
✓Qualifying Examination (QE)
✓Senior Arabic & Islamic Qualifying Examination (SAIQE)

All PRIVATE Schools are required to follow the steps below to complete registration:

ONLINE REGISTRATION PROCEDURE
✓Visit the KSSQAA website: https://kssqaa.org
✓Navigate to “Examinations”, select the relevant exam (BECE, BAICE, QE, or SAIQE), and choose Private from the dropdown menu.
✓Log in using your USERNAME (Login ID) and PASSWORD from the previous year.
✓Pay ₦5,000 per private candidate for both the registration PIN and Certificate.
✓Register students for the selected examination(s).
✓Proceed to the Continuous Assessment Scores (C.A.S) section, select the exam type, and enter or view students’ C.A. scores.
✓Manage student details, review subject analyses, and make edits before the registration deadline.

OFFLINE REGISTRATION PROCEDURE

✓Schools may register candidates via the Offline Version of the application.
✓Click on the “Guidelines” menu on the website to learn how to download and install the Offline Version.

NOTE:
✓Ensure the number of PINs requested online matches the number of students registered offline.
✓If additional candidates are registered offline, request extra PINs before synchronizing the data online.
✓Principals of PUBLIC schools found registering candidates from PRIVATE schools will be sanctioned.

POST-REGISTRATION TASKS
✓After registration closes, download student photo albums and examination cards.
✓The download date will be announced on the platform under “Calendar.”
✓Use the Gazette Request option to request a gazette after the examination results are released.

Information reaching me has it that, his killers came from Bossua road on a single motorcycle carry three of them. Each with a gun. He was killed at the police checking point at abattoir and the personnel on duty all run away.

The killers followed Ugba road and met army at fish market resulting to the killers to throw their motorcycle and flee away.

He was the only person killed at the scene

Bandit Recruitment Threatens Peace in Ukum

Residents of Chito Road and Kendev community are facing serious disturbances from the Chen Hobbo boys. Reports indicate that in Ityuluv Council Ward, under Chen’s leadership, bandits are being recruited on a daily basis. These boys, in large numbers, are terrorizing the people and making life unbearable.

Furthermore, the Chairman of Ukum Local Government is urged to stop taking sides in this matter, as such actions will only worsen the situation. Bandits should never be supported, as their aim is violence. The chairman should call Chen Hobbo to order and ensure he restrains his boys, especially Atemkyaa and Jafalo Hobbo, before the situation escalates further.
