The Society for the Welfare of the Blind in Nigeria (S.W.B.N) is a non-governmental, non-profit making and non-religious organization. Registered with the Corporate Affairs Commission of Nigeria under Part C of the Company and Allied matter decree of 1990 with charity no: IT/23414. The Society has set for itself aims and objectives tailored towards meeting the overall human developmental needs of

the blind in Nigeria . These needs of the blind fall within the sphere of political, socio-economic and moral resource provisions.
