Last week, members of Folorunsho Adisa Welfare Initiative (FAWI), Saki Branch had the honour of attending the 1st Ramadan Public Lecture organized by the Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria, Asabari 88.3 FM, Saki.
Our presence at the event was in representation of our founder, Princess Omolara Folorunsho-Lawrence, who was specially invited to the programme. The FAWI Saki Branch members proudly represented her and the organization at this important gathering.
The lecture, themed “Combating Corruption through Islamic Values,” was highly enlightening and thought-provoking. The discussions emphasized the importance of faith, integrity, honesty, and moral responsibility as key foundations for building a better and more just society.
The event provided a valuable opportunity for learning, reflection, and meaningful engagement with other community leaders and participants who share a commitment to promoting ethical values within our society.
We sincerely appreciate the warm reception and hospitality extended to the FAWI team throughout the programme. Our gratitude goes to the organizers, the distinguished guest lecturer, and everyone who contributed to making the lecture a success.
As an organization committed to community development, humanitarian service, and moral values, Folorunsho Adisa Welfare Initiative remains dedicated to supporting programmes that promote integrity, peace, and positive societal transformation.
May the lessons from this Ramadan lecture continue to guide us all toward a more responsible, ethical, and upright society.
