We equally celebrate all invited artistes, particularly Alhaji Abdulkabir Bukola Alayande (Ere Asalatu), alongside members of the Iperu Indigenous Artists Association and other performers who entertained guests and contributed significantly to the success of the event.
Special recognition goes to the mother of all committees, the Iperu Akesan Development Association (IDA), under the purposeful and visionary leadership of Alhaji Taiwo Oyebanjo (Avalon). We commend the association's relentless efforts in promoting Iperu's socio-cultural heritage through initiatives such as Ojude Oba, Eyo Iperu and numerous developmental projects across the community.

Your sacrifices, commitment, donations, dedication and teamwork made this celebration possible. We pray that Almighty God continues to bless and reward each and every one of you abundantly.
Furthermore, the Committee sincerely apologizes to the Iperu Regency Council, traditional rulers, chiefs, baales, Iperu Akesan Development Association, sons and daughters of Iperu, invited guests and all stakeholders over an unfortunate incident involving one of the invited artistes, King Dr. Saheed Osupa, whose performance is highly anticipated, which resulted in dissatisfaction for non appearance during the celebration.
The Committee wishes to state clearly that the occurrence does not reflect the values, character and reputation of the people of Iperu, nor the committee, who are known for integrity, respect, professionalism and excellence in service delivery. We regret the incident and recognize the concerns it generated among members of the community and our guests.
We equally extend our sincere apologies to King Dr. Saheed Osupa and entire fans club of Olufimo, for the disappointment and breach of trust occasioned by one of the member of the committee . The Committee has commenced a comprehensive review of the circumstances surrounding the incident and is putting measures in place to ensure that such an occurrence does not happen again.
As we conclude another memorable edition of Ojude Oba Iperu, we thank everyone who contributed in one way or another to its success. Together, we have once again showcased the beauty, strength, unity and rich cultural heritage of Iperu Akesanland to the world.
