Emir of Ilorin’s Delegation Visits Prominent Scholar, Sheikh Abubakar Sidiq Agbarigidoma
Following the directives of the Emir of Ilorin, His Royal Highness Alhaji (Dr.) Ibrahim Sulu-Gambari CFR, a high-powered delegation has paid a courtesy visit to the respected Islamic scholar, Sheikh Abubakar Sidiq Agbarigidoma, at his residence in Ilorin.
The delegation was led by the Grand M***i of Ilorin, *Sheikh Suleiman Faruq-Onikijipa Al-Miskinubillahi, alongside the First Mallami Ubandoma of Ilorin, and other prominent community leaders.
Purpose of the Visit
The visit served as a formal presentation of the newly appointed Chief Imam of Ilorin to the senior scholars who form the spiritual foundation of the Ilorin Emirate. It was structured as a dual-purpose mission:
An Expression of Gratitude: To formally thank Sheikh Agbarigidoma for his enduring support and guidance within the emirate.
Familiarization & Unity:
To introduce the new Chief Imam, fostering solidarity and strengthening ties among the custodians of Islamic scholarship in the ancient city.
