ILORIN EMIRATE YOUTH GREETS MUSLIMS ON ISLAMIC NEW YEAR, 1448 A.H.

The Ilorin Emirate Integrity Youth Vanguard Ieiyv , under the esteemed leadership and royal guidance of His Royal Highness, the Emir of Ilorin,Alh (Dr) Ibrahim Sulu-Gambari CFR, extends warm greetings and heartfelt felicitations to Muslims across the world on the occasion of the Islamic New Year, 1448 A.H.

The association described the commencement of the new Hijrah year as a period for reflection, gratitude, spiritual renewal, and renewed commitment to the teachings of Islam. It urged Muslims to draw inspiration from the historic migration (Hijrah) of Prophet Muhammad (SAW) by embracing faith, patience, sacrifice, unity, and righteousness in their daily lives.

Speaking on behalf of the organization, the National President of IEIYV, Mal. Alaburo Abdulsalam Sherif , congratulated Muslims around the globe, particularly the people of the Ilorin Emirate, on witnessing the beginning of another Islamic year.

He prayed that Almighty Allah makes the year 1448 A.H. a year of peace, progress, prosperity, good health, and abundant blessings for the Muslim Ummah. He also urged Muslims to continue praying for the unity, security, and development of Nigeria and for peaceful coexistence among all people.

Mal. Alaburo Sherif further prayed for the continued peace and prosperity of the Ilorin Emirate and asked Almighty Allah to grant His Royal Highness, the Emir of Ilorin, long life, sound health, wisdom, and a successful reign.

The Ilorin Emirate Integrity Youth Vanguard wishes all Muslims a happy, peaceful, and spiritually rewarding Islamic New Year.

IEIYV COMMENDS EMIR'S YOUTH-ORIENTED LEADERSHIP, CONGRATULATES NEW CHIEF IMAM OF ILORIN EMIRATE

The Ilorin Emirate Integrity Youth Vanguard Ieiyv , under the esteemed leadership and royal guidance of His Royal Highness, the Emir of Ilorin, Alh (Dr) Ibrahim Sulu-Gambari CFR, has commended the Emir for his visionary and youth-oriented leadership following the appointment of Sheikh Muhammad Bashir Dasuki Imam Fulani as the new Chief Imam of Ilorin.

The association described the appointment as a testament to the Emir's commitment to recognizing merit, competence, and the capacity of younger generations to contribute meaningfully to the growth and development of the Ilorin Emirate and the Muslim Ummah.

Speaking on the development, the Secretary of the association, Engr. Sulyman Jawondo Abdulazeez , noted that the appointment followed a rigorous and transparent selection process in which Sheikh Muhammad Bashir Dasuki Imam Fulani emerged successful among several distinguished Islamic scholars who aspired to occupy the prestigious spiritual office.

He stated that the emergence of Sheikh Muhammad Bashir Dasuki, aged 42, reflects the confidence reposed in the younger generation and demonstrates the Emir's belief in capable and dynamic leadership for the continued progress of Islam in the Emirate.

The association further congratulated Sheikh Muhammad Bashir Dasuki Imam Fulani on his well-deserved appointment as the Chief Imam of Ilorin, describing him as a respected Islamic scholar with the knowledge, character, and spiritual capacity required to lead the Muslim faithful.

In his remarks, the National President of IEIYV, Mal. Alaburo Abdulsalam Sherif , congratulated the new Chief Imam and prayed that Almighty Allah grants him long life, sound health, wisdom, guidance, and a successful reign in the discharge of his religious responsibilities.

He also prayed that Allah continues to strengthen the Emir of Ilorin, preserve the peace and unity of the Ilorin Emirate, and grant continuous progress to the Muslim Ummah.

The association reaffirmed its support for the leadership of the Emirate and expressed optimism that the new Chief Imam would build on the rich legacy of Islamic scholarship, peace, and religious harmony for which Ilorin is renowned.

ILORIN EMIRATE YOUTH CONDOLES WITH EMIR OF ILORIN, ILORIN EMIRATE COMMUNITY, AND FAMILY OVER THE PASSING OF PROF. ABDULGANIYU AMBALI

The Ilorin Emirate Integrity Youth Vanguard (IEIYV), under the esteemed leadership and royal guidance of His Royal Highness, the Emir of Ilorin,Alh (Dr) Ibrahim Sulu-Gambari CFR, has expressed profound sorrow over the passing of Prof. Abdulganiyu Ambali, former Vice-Chancellor of the University of Ilorin and one of the most distinguished sons of the Ilorin Emirate.

The association extends its heartfelt condolences to the Emir of Ilorin, the Ambali family, the academic community, and the entire people of the Ilorin Emirate over the demise of a renowned scholar, accomplished administrator, and respected community leader whose life was dedicated to the advancement of education, knowledge, and societal development.

IEIYV described the late Prof. Ambali as a symbol of academic excellence, humility, discipline, and service. His remarkable contributions to the educational sector, particularly during his tenure as Vice-Chancellor of the University of Ilorin, earned him admiration and respect across Nigeria and beyond. His commitment to scholarship, mentorship, and institutional growth left a lasting impact on countless students, academics, and professionals.

Speaking on behalf of the organization, the National President, Mal. Alaburo Abdulsalam Sherif , stated that the death of Prof. Ambali is not only a loss to his family but also to the Ilorin Emirate, Kwara State, Nigeria, and the global academic community. He noted that the late professor's legacy of excellence, integrity, and selfless service will continue to inspire present and future generations.

Mal.Alaburo Sherif further prayed that Almighty Allah, in His infinite mercy, forgives all the shortcomings of the deceased, accepts his good deeds as acts of Ibadah, enlarges and illuminates his grave, and grants him Aljanah Firdaus.

The association also prayed that Almighty Allah grants the Emir of Ilorin, the Ambali family, friends, associates, former colleagues, students, and the entire Ilorin Emirate community the strength, patience, and fortitude to bear this irreparable loss.

While mourning the departure of this illustrious son of the Emirate, IEIYV urged the younger generation to emulate the virtues of hard work, dedication, knowledge, humility, and service to humanity for which Prof. Abdulganiyu Ambali was widely known.

May Almighty Allah grant him eternal rest and reward him abundantly for his immense contributions to humanity.

The association commended the Governor of Kwara State,His Excellency Mall AbdulRahman Abdulrasaq CON , for his calm, fair-minded, and mature handling of the matter, describing the decision as a reflection of his administration's commitment to justice, due process, and equity.

The Ilorin Emirate Integrity Youth Vanguard Ieiyv under the umbrella of His Royal Highness Alh. (Dr) Ibrahim Sulu Gambari CFR has congratulated the Speaker of the Kwara State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Engr. Salihu Yakubu Danladi, on the occasion of his 41st birthday. In a statement signed by the National President of the Association, Mallam Alaburo Abdulsalam Sherif , they described the Speaker as a vibrant and dedicated leader whose contributions to legislative governance and youth development have continued to impact positively on the growth of Kwara State.
