ACYDI Holds Get-Together & Family Reunion, Receives Endorsement from Kwara State Commissioner for Youth Development
Arise Charity for Youth Development Initiatives (ACYDI) successfully hosted its Get-Together & Family Reunion, bringing together members, volunteers, partners, and stakeholders for a moment of reflection, reconnection, and renewed commitment to youth and community development.
The event was honoured by the presence of the Honourable Commissioner for Youth Development, Kwara State, who delivered words of encouragement and reaffirmed the importance of youth-led initiatives in driving sustainable development. In his remarks, the Honourable Commissioner commended ACYDI’s consistent contributions to youth empowerment and community development and graciously declared that he is now a member of ACYDI, further strengthening collaboration between government and civil society.
The Founder of ACYDI also delivered reflective remarks, highlighting the organization’s journey, appreciating the dedication and sacrifices of members and volunteers, and charging stakeholders to remain committed as the organization prepares for its 10th anniversary in 2027. The remarks emphasized unity, renewed engagement, and collective responsibility in advancing ACYDI’s mission.
The gathering also served as an opportunity to close the year 2025 on a positive and united note, celebrating the strength of ACYDI as a family. Members reflected on the organization’s journey throughout the year, marked by impactful youth-focused programs, community engagement initiatives, advocacy efforts, and strengthened partnerships despite prevailing challenges.
Looking ahead, ACYDI reaffirmed its commitment to expanding its reach, deepening community impact, strengthening youth leadership, and building sustainable programs that address critical social, economic, and development challenges. The coming years will focus on scaling interventions, improving collaboration with stakeholders, and preparing for a milestone decade of service in 2027 and beyond.
