We have more digital tools than ever.

But having access to technology doesn’t automatically mean knowing how to use it to solve the challenges around us.

Digital empowerment is not just about having the tools. It’s also having the knowledge and confidence to use them.

For students, professionals, NGOs, and everyday AI users, the ability to turn digital knowledge into practical solutions is becoming increasingly important.

That’s why this September, Webfala Digital Skills for All Initiative is bringing you:

"Building Impact: Using AI and Digital Skills to Solve Real-World Problems"

This webinar will help you:

- Recognise real-world problems where AI and digital tools can make a difference
- Turn ideas and challenges into practical digital solutions
- Apply your skills to work, learning, community initiatives, and everyday life
- Use technology more intentionally to create meaningful outcomes

Whether you’re a digital professional, NGO/CSO worker, student, or everyday AI user, this session is designed to help you move from simply using technology to using it purposefully.

What happens when we bring the right people to the table to address the growing threat of technology-facilitated gender-based violence?

On 24 September 2026, Webfala Digital Skills for All Initiative will convene stakeholders in Ilorin, Kwara State, for the Digital Voices Multi-Stakeholder Dialogue on Technology-Facilitated Gender-Based Violence (TFGBV).

The dialogue will provide an open space for leaders and stakeholders to share experiences, discuss the realities of TFGBV affecting women in politics and public life, and explore practical steps towards safer digital spaces.

The conversation did not start here.

On August 4th, we engaged women across politics and public life, equipping them with the knowledge to understand TFGBV, recognise different forms of online abuse, know where and how to report incidents, and take steps to protect themselves in digital spaces.

This time, we are moving from awareness to collective action.

Through this dialogue, we are bringing stakeholders into the conversation to listen, learn, and act.

Throwing it back to STEMFunFest 2024, when winners emerged from a thought-provoking debate:

“Is STEM the key to solving Nigeria’s waste management problem?”

🥇 Mollys Schools
🥈 Eucharistic Heart of Jesus Model College
🥉 Flora Schools

Beyond the prizes, students gained the opportunity to research a real Nigerian problem, think critically, defend their ideas, and see the power of their voices.

The prizes marked the achievement. The experience was the bigger win.

And now, we’re taking it even further.

STEMFunFest 2026 is reaching 1,000+ students across 100 schools in Kwara State.

What started in 2024 is growing into something much bigger.

CHILDREN ARE NOT CONTENT.

Webfala Digital Initiative strongly condemns the reported sexual exploitation of a child for the production and distribution of online content.

If you encounter the material, report it through the appropriate authorities and platforms instead of spreading it.

DON'T SHARE. DON'T POST. DON'T CIRCULATE. PROTECT THE CHILD.

The future doesn’t always begin with a big idea. Sometimes, it begins with a child getting the chance to try.

A child picks up a robot for the first time, builds something with their own hands.
And suddenly, something they only imagined becomes something they can create.

That is the kind of moment we want to create at STEMFunFest 2026.

In our last edition, we brought children together for an experience that showed them that STEM is not just something they read about in textbooks. It is something they can explore, experiment with and be part of.

This year, we want to go further.

1,000 students.
100 schools.
One bigger opportunity to discover what is possible.

But we need your help to make it happen.
We are raising ₦5 million to take STEMFunFest 2026 to children across Kwara State.

Your contribution could help put a child in front of their first robotics activity, their first hands-on experiment, or their first experience that makes them see what's possible
You may be helping create more than a fun day.

You could be helping create a spark that stays with a child long after STEMFunFest is over.
Help us put innovation in their hands.
