MKAN ILARO DIL’A ORGANIZED HEALTH TALK, TAEKWONDO TRAINING, AND BODY EXERCISE PROGRAMME
On the 7th of June, 2026, The Majlis Khuddamul Ahmadiyya Ilaro Dil’a organized a comprehensive developmental programme combining health education, martial arts training, and physical fitness exercises.
The programme was well attended and held in an atmosphere of discipline, enthusiasm, and active participation.
The training was anchored by Bro Olabode Raufeeq, whose guidance and instruction greatly enriched the learning experience and ensured effective delivery of all segments.
The health talk segment focused on the topic “Communicable and Non-Communicable Diseases.” Participants were enlightened on the nature, causes, modes of transmission, prevention, and general health implications of these diseases.
The session emphasized the importance of hygiene, healthy lifestyle choices, early detection, and preventive healthcare practices as essential tools for maintaining overall well-being.
The Taekwondo training session introduced participants to fundamental stances, specifically Ap Seogi (Walking Stance) and Ap Kubi (Front/Giant Stance).
The instructor demonstrated their correct ex*****on and explained their practical application in self-defense situations. Emphasis was placed on balance, discipline, focus, and controlled movement, highlighting how martial arts can serve both protective and character-building purposes.
In addition, the body exercise segment featured a series of structured physical fitness routines designed to improve strength, flexibility, endurance, and coordination. Participants engaged actively in various exercises, contributing to a lively and energetic atmosphere throughout the session.
The instructor, Bro olabode Raufeeq further enriched the programme by introducing the attendees to the fundamentals of the chessboard, explaining how the game is played and the strategic thinking it develops.
He highlighted the arrangement of the pieces, the movement of each unit, and the importance of foresight, patience, and calculated decision-making during play.
Beyond recreation, he drew attention to the historical and military relevance of chess, illustrating how it has long been used as a tool for training the mind in strategy, planning, and battlefield simulation.
Through this analogy, participants were taught how principles of chess can be applied in security operations—such as anticipating moves, protecting key positions, coordinating forces, and responding tactically to threats.
The session added a deeper intellectual dimension to the programme, bridging physical training with mental discipline and strategic awareness.
Overall, the programme reflected a strong commitment to holistic development—integrating health awareness, physical discipline, and self-defense skills—while fostering unity, learning, and brotherhood among participants.
The programme recorded a total attendance of 50 participants, comprising members of the Mulk (National Executives), State Officers, Dil’a Officers, and other members of the Ilaro Dil’a.
