🕊️ Bringing Hope Behind Bars

On October 18, 2025, the Rotary Club of Ikoyi Metro visited the Ikoyi Correctional Centre, Lagos, as part of our Conflict Prevention and Resolution focus.

During the outreach, we provided palliatives and essential items to inmates — spreading hope, compassion, and dignity. 💛

In a remarkable act of service, we also secured the release of male and female inmates held for minor offenses, giving them a second chance at freedom and a fresh start in life. 🙌

Rotary believes peace begins where compassion and justice meet — and together, we continue to build a more peaceful and inclusive society. 🌍💫

RYLA 2025 – Empowering the Next Generation of Leaders!

Under the dynamic leadership of President Alexander Chukwu and the dedication of our Youth Service Chairman, Rtn. Francis Egede , the Rotary Club of Ikoyi Metro proudly sponsored over 70 vibrant young leaders to participate in the 7-day Rotary Youth Leadership Academy (RYLA).

The program was nothing short of transformative!
At the closing ceremony, our club members came out in full force to celebrate with the Rylarians. In a special highlight, President Alexander Chukwu purchased a Rylarian’s artwork during the auction for an inspiring ₦500,000, showcasing our commitment to youth talent and creativity.

The energy, passion, and motivation were palpable — every participant left with renewed determination to lead, serve, and create lasting impact in their communities. 🌍

We are proud to be part of shaping tomorrow’s leaders today.
