Exactly this time seven years ago, Rt. Hon. Gunju Ojo, the then APC candidate, continues his campaign as he addresses the indigenes of Ikose area of Oriire Local Government in his effort to canvas support and vote for his ambition to represent Ogbomoso North/South & Oriire Federal Constituency in the coming February 16, 2019 election.

On Saturday, 29th November 2025, at the Legislative Building of Oriire Local Government Secretariat, Ikoyi-Ile, sixteen committed young volunteers drawn from the ten wards of Oriire were fully trained and commissioned to assist residents with PVC-related services, including new registration, voter relocation, data correction, and replacement of lost or damaged cards.

The program was facilitated by the Oriire Youth Council, while the practical training was professionally handled by the ICT team of the Ogbomoso Descendants Development Association (ODDA), with representatives of the National Orientation Agency (NOA) in attendance to observe the exercise. This initiative marks a major step toward bringing voter services closer to the grassroots and reducing the burden of long-distance travel for our people.

As the 2027 general elections approach, we encourage every indigene and resident of Oriire, both at home and in the diaspora, to take advantage of this support system, secure their PVC, and be fully prepared to participate actively in shaping the future of our dear local government.
