A moment of pride, discipline, and purpose.

Governor Babajide Olushola Sanwo-Olu joined the opening session of the 2026 Lagos Boy Child Initiative Residential Workshop at St. Gregory’s College, where he was warmly received by a colourful and well-coordinated Scout parade mounted by the Lagos State Scout Council (LSSC).

The parade display reflected the values of discipline, leadership, and patriotism — qualities this year’s theme seeks to instil in our young boys: Reorientating Our Boys to Become Ambassadors of Positive Change.
In a world filled with distractions and complex challenges, our boys need guidance, strong moral values, mentorship, and the right examples.

Can not speak of building a better Lagos without intentionally shaping the character and mindset of the next generation of men.

The enthusiasm, engagement, and willingness of these young participants to learn reaffirm that the future of our society depends on the kind of boys we nurture today.

Indeed, we all have a role to play in raising responsible, disciplined, and visionary leaders for tomorrow.
