Who Do You Follow?

Text: Heb 12:1
We have all these great people around us as examples. Their lives tell us what faith means, so we, too, should run the race that's before us and never quit and remove from our lives anything that would slow us and sin that often makes us fall. We must never stop looking at Jesus (ERV)

WORD FOR TODAY:
A man was driving down the road, just at the traffic light, he noticed a hold up, he immediately pulled up behind the car before him waiting for the line to move.
He sat quietly in his car, after a while he then observed the car before him wasn't moving, and no driver inside the car. Then he realize himself and pulled over 😥

Many of us are like the car waiting behind the the spoilt bus. Many are mislead, Today some leaders and Religious leaders are misleading, others follow men for favour, money, worldly gains, for power, political appointments etc. But the Bible says, we should be careful lest we fall. It made emphasis that we should look up to Jesus the author and finisher of our faith
Let's be guided by Bible principles and stand out as good examples for others to emulate.

Many have left the first love they had for Christ, people grow weary for the things of God Many have turned to Sunday Sunday Christian while their heart is so far away away from God..
This lesson is not to discourage you but for you not to lay ur hope on any man.

PRAYER FOR TODAY
Heavenly I thank you for today, for teaching us to be focus that we may receive the crown of life at resurrection morning, help us to follow you diligently ijn Amen 🙏

Good day all.
I want you all to be mindful of your security. even as you pray Listen to news regularly.
The country is going through very difficult and unsafe times. Presently there are calls from foreign concerns to declare Nigeria a failed state. This is because of the level of insecurity present in the country presently.
We all need to be concerned about our safety. Do not say it can never happen to me. No one is safe. Relatives of the President had been kidnapped. Men of God, Security men etc. No one is safe nowhere is safe. Let us try and observe strict security protocols together with our prayers.
*ONE*
So I direct you all never to stay out of the house late.
Come back home or stay close to your house latest 6pm
*TWO*
Do not travel in marked vehicles. For example, vehicles bearing names, company etc.
*THREE*
Do not travel in groups. If you are to go for a program, move alone.
*FOUR*
If your area is being attacked, switch of all lights including any switch with lights no matter how tiny. Remove all jewelry on your body and wrap your phone in a cloth to prevent light reflection that can betray your position.
If you hear gunshot, leave your bed and lie flat under the bed and out of your window. Get out of sight. Lie close to any wall.
*FIVE*
Do not take ride in any vehicle that you don't know. Take public transportation at all times.
*SIX*
When you go out, dress normal and neat not flashy. Never wear any clothes that can get you noticed or identified.
*SEVEN*
If you are going out to somewhere, tell someone where you are going to and the expected time of your arrival. If possible don't go alone.
*EIGHT*
On no account should you visit online friends. People who you meet on social media, you should never visit them either in public or in their home or office. NEVER.
*NINE*
Speak very little when you are in the public and never comment on government or political issues.
*TEN*
Always maintain call credit on your phone and always ensure you have power on it or buy power bank. You may need to make contact incase of ATTACK.
*ELEVEN*
If under attack, do not make voice calls, because sound travels faster and quietly at night, just ring the number repeatedly if the person pick, don't speak. Just send text. When doing that do it under cover so that your phone will not reflect any ray of light.
*TWELVE*
Don't buy group dress from anyone for now. No matter how close they are to you , don't buy.
*THIRTEEN*
Don't attend parties that you are not closely concerned.
*FOURTEEN*
If at all, you come under attack, remember there are only 2 rules to guide you.
*1) DO NOT PANIC*
*2) NOT TO FORGET RULE 1*
If you panic, you will attract attention of the attackers to yourselves, and you will not remember exactly what you need to do to keep you safe.
*FIFTEEN*
This is not the time to do fashion or to showcase your new clothing and shoes. Anytime you go out wear dress and especially shoes that will allow you to run incase you need to get out of troubled area fast. Wear cheap shoes that you can throw away if it impedes your movement. Your dress should not hinder your ability to run.
*SIXTEEN*
Prepare for any eventuality. Do not say it can't happen. Be Prepared. Trouble can happen anywhere any time. Remember your life is very important,not your phone or your property.
*SEVENTEEN*
If you have to run, throw away anything in your hand. Save yourself first. Don't wait to pick anything that drop from your hands. Run as fast as you can.
*EIGHTEEN*
If there is shooting, try the rules. Do not panic. The fact that you heard the gunshot means that you are not hit. If you are hit, you will not hear the SOUND.
#. Reduce your height first by bending down as close to the ground as possible.
#. Then try and identify the direction of the shots first then draw a cross putting the direction of the shot at north or south, run East or WEST.
#. Never run straight line in opposite direction because bullets travel at straight line and never run toward the point of the gunshot.
#. As you are moving out of the troubled area, identify hard objects or structures that you can use as protection where you can hide.
#. If you notice the sound is coming closer, shift your location a little as you continue to run. If not, find a safe place and hide in sitting position to avoid stray bullets from hitting you.
*NINETEEN*
At this moment, avoid arguments with People. When you notice people are showing anger, don't wait to settle them, move out of the place as quickly and quietly as you can. Just yesterday in Ado Ekiti someone was trying to settle an argument, he was stabbed and he died on the spot. Don't go to places of incidents to go and look what's happening.
*TWENTY*
At this moment, stay as close as possible to your home. Know the shortest possible routes to your home incase you need to get home quickly.
Always keep some change at hand. Not much, maybe 2k or less incase you need to board a public transport out of any trouble area.
*OPEN YOUR EYES AND BE ALERT.*
_Suspect everything including people and places._...

Still *At home* we learn to:

01 - Be organized

business

people's belongings
04 - Respect the rules,

tongue (s), master our
good culture that
doesn't go against
GOD'S commandments
and expectations of us.

Because *AT SCHOOL* teachers should teach:

We are in a time when evil is upheld, and even defended, at the expense of the good.

Have you observed that in recent times, people hate to hear the truth about their children's abnormal behaviour?

Have you also noticed that some "accidental parents" will call you all kinds of names and even threaten to deal with you, just because you tried to correct some error in their parenting?

This happens most especially on the social media.

And before you know it, you see thorns of abuses being showered upon you, because you made a statement that did not agree with their ill- conceived ideas of parenting.

And the summary most often is, "How does it concern you? Is it your business how other people raise their children? Can't you mind your own business?..."

I want to tell everyone here that it is my business how you raise your children.

And it should also be your business how I raise mine, if you are a parent indeed.

🔴 It is my business because, your ill-parented children will corrupt other children, including mine.

🔴 It is my business because, you may raise more hoodlums, prostitutes, drug addicts, rapists, etc., in addition to the ones we already have in the society; thereby making the environment more unconducive and unsafe for everyone.

🔴 It is my business because, you may raise bullies and send them to the same school where normal children are.

And we can not afford to continue losing innocent children to untamed bull dogs who pretend to be students😡.

🔴 It is my business because, I am praying to be a father-in-law/mother-in-law tomorrow and I don't know who my child will bring home to me.

What if fate brings them together with your ill-parented son or daughter, whom you have craftily taught the art of deceit and pretence?

Wouldn't that mean that I may spend the rest of my life in bitterness watching my son or daughter going through pains in their marriage?

🔴 How you parent your children is my business because, every intentionally parented child is a special gift from God to humanity.

Who knows whether that child you are spoiling or neglecting today would be my destiny-helper tomorrow?

🔴 Don't tell me to mind my business when you are raising charlatans who will waste, rather than save lives in our hospitals; traumatise, rather than teach students/pupils in our schools; profane, rather than glorify the name of God in religious organizations, and cause havoc in every sector of the society, which all of us are meant to coexist in.

🔴 Stop telling me to mind my business because, I am a stakeholder in the upbringing of every child born in this time and season.

Every intentional parent knows that we are all stakeholders in the raising of the next generation......✍🏾
