Folks, Good Morning.
Over the weekend fruitful debates and discussions had ensued back and forth in the house on our collective commitment towards the ‘Statutory’ N500k payment for the 50th anniversary.
*To pay or not to pay???*
"Amidst what has just befallen our set, our ability to listen to superior logic or reasoning and revising our earlier held position of not even paying is maturity."
Let’s not be deceived, as regards ‘Giving back’ to the our Alma Mata, as ‘91 Set we are trailblazers.
Our strides /records are eminent and unequalled, this speaks for us; as clearly stated below.
“Whilst we are rallying for our brother Akanimo Udofia, we should not disenfranchise our other teaming members who may wish to be associated with other alumni in celebrating this unique, once-in-a-lifetime”
Consequently, the EXCO brooded over this matter and recommends the release of 250k from our collective purse towards the ‘Statutory’ Golden anniversary levy.
The amount N250k is makes a Statement that;
1. We are presently handling as Set ‘91 a Medical case.
2. We have been “Giving Back” exceedingly without compulsion.
Let’s have a great week.
Thanks
