HELP US PUT LEARNING MATERIALS IN THE HANDS OF CHILDREN

As children are preparing to return to school, many will return with everything they need to learn. But for some children, basic educational materials remain a challenge.

Your support can help a child start the new school term with the tools they need to learn, participate and dream bigger. You can support us with;

School supplies
Writing materials
Educational books
School bags
Financial support towards educational materials

Every contribution, big or small, can make a difference.

Why hygiene and science lessons matter.

When science is shown, not just taught, children get to be curious, to see beyond their environment.

Through MicroHeroes, we pair hands-on science with practical hygiene education. Understanding why germs spread makes how to stay clean actually stick.
For many of these children, this is their only chance to experience STEM outside a textbook.

And it doesn’t stop there, they carry these habits home, shaping hygiene at the household level too.

Behind every child who learns, every smile we capture, and every program that runs smoothly there’s a team that shows up. 🤗

To every volunteer who has ever shown up for us, thank you. You don’t always get the spotlight, but you carry the weight. This one’s for you. 🙌🏾

Yesterday at MicroHeroes 🔬

Yesterday, we gave children something many of them had never seen or experienced before, the chance to explore the invisible world around them.

Microscope Demonstration: They got to see how science can reveal what our eyes cannot.

Handwashing Session: We went beyond simply saying “wash your hands.” We talked extensively about why, when, and how proper handwashing protects us, followed by a practical demonstration.

VR Germ Experience: Then came the wow moment. Through the VR headset, the children got to see germs in a way they had never experienced before.

For us, MicroHeroes is about more than teaching facts. It is about making science, health and curiosity accessible to children who may not always have access to these experiences.

Watching their reactions and excitement reminded us why this matters. ❤️

Every child deserves the opportunity to explore, ask questions and discover the science behind their everyday lives.

This is MicroHeroes. Turning curiosity into knowledge, one young mind at a time.
