🩸 Health conversations don’t have a deadline.

Yet for too many girls in Nigeria, the inability to manage their period with dignity silently neglects their health, education, and future.

On this World Health Day, AfriImpact stands firm: Menstrual health is public health.

We are committed to ensuring no girl is left behind due to something as natural as her period.

Let’s normalise the conversation. Let’s provide the support. Let’s build a Nigeria where every girl can manage her cycle with confidence and dignity.

Together, we can make a difference. ❤️

ONE YEAR LATER ❤️

Exactly one year ago, we started this journey with a big dream and even bigger hearts. Today, we’re proud to share the lives touched, smiles created, and barriers broken.

In just 12 months:

• Over 200 children gained access to better opportunities
• More than 20 women learned new skills and started building income
• 60+ individuals received direct support

Every photo in this flyer tells a story — of resilience, of community, of hope turning into reality.

To every person who believed in us: thank you. Your support is creating generational change.

The work is far from over. More to come…

We celebrate every woman who showed up, underfunded, underestimated, and unstoppable, and built something anyway. At Afriimpact, we are proud to be part of a generation of women who don’t just dream of change, we go into communities and make it happen.

We celebrate Right. Justice.. Action… for every woman

There is no greater joy than watching our women turn their skills into income.

Meet Miss Chidinma who learned beaded bag making through our women skill empowerment program and she’s already making sales and building her business. We are so proud of her.

A hearty appreciation to our sponsor

In less than 3 months, dreams became reality.

Meet Mrs Rukayat, who completed our women empowerment program just this past December 2025.
Today, she’s not only running her own adire business - she’s delivering orders across state lines

From training room to thriving entrepreneur in under 90 days. Now she’s creating stunning adire pieces, building a customer base, and fulfilling interstate orders. Her hands are creating beauty, and her business is creating opportunity.

This is the impact we envisioned when we started this journey. Every woman empowered is a family uplifted, a community strengthened. We are deeply grateful to for making transformational programs like this possible. Together, we are not just teaching skills - we are changing lives.

Big news from Afriimpact🌎

We are thrilled to announce that our MicroHeroes program has been featured on the official UNESCO SDG 4 Knowledge Hub as a recognized good practice for transforming education in underserved communities.

This grassroots initiative brings foundational health and science literacy to children aged 6–15 in places like Shasha and Makoko, Nigeria, empowering the next generation with knowledge that breaks cycles of poverty and builds brighter futures.

Being spotlighted by alongside global changemakers is a powerful reminder that community-led efforts matter on the world stage. Thank you to our partners, volunteers, donors, and every child who’s been part of MicroHeroes, you make this possible.

Throwback Thursday 📚

Remember when COVID-19 hit and the world went quiet? Schools shut down, and so many children in our community suddenly had no access to books, lessons, or structure.

But we couldn’t stand by and watch their futures pause.
In the middle of all that uncertainty, we built a little home library right here, a simple space filled with books that became a lifeline for 15 incredible kids.

While the outside world was silent, our corners buzzed with the sound of pages turning, questions being asked, and young minds refusing to stop growing.

The proof came soon after schools reopened: one of our girls walked straight into her exam and passed with flying colors. She hadn’t missed a beat, because learning never stopped for her, even in the darkest days.

That small home library was the spark. From those humble shelves to the work we’re doing today, this is why we keep going. Every child deserves a chance to learn, no matter lockdowns, blackouts, or any other storm life throws.
Grateful for every page turned and every dream kept alive.

Meet one of our incredible women (Mrs Esther) from the recent Skill Empowerment Program, powered by Afriimpact Development Organization x
Just weeks after our training, with the support given to her, she’s already making and selling her own (soap/products) earning income to support her family and dream bigger.
This is why we do what we do, breaking poverty cycles one skill at a time. Your support makes stories like hers possible. Ready to help more women thrive?

Today we celebrate the International Day of Education and the transformative power of learning. Education isn’t just about classrooms, it’s about opening doors, breaking barriers, and building futures.

As we mark this day, we are reminded that 244 million children and youth worldwide are still out of school. Quality education remains one of the most powerful tools we have to create lasting change.

At AfriImpact Development Organization, we believe every person deserves access to learning opportunities that help them thrive.

Education shapes everything — opportunity, confidence, and the future of a nation.

As we count down to the International Day of Education (Jan 24), we’re asking a simple but powerful question 👇🏽

If you were Minister of Education for a day, what would be the first change you’d make?

Let’s think boldly. Let’s think honestly.
