To support vaccination teams in all weather conditions, Rotary International District 9112, in collaboration with the Rotary Club of Ikoyi Metro, donated 100 raincoats and 100 rain boots to the Lagos State Primary Health Care Agency.

This vital support will enable frontline health workers to reach more children, navigate hard-to-access areas during the rainy season, and sustain immunization activities without interruption, ultimately improving coverage and ensuring no child is missed.

In attendance were District 9112 PolioPlus Chairperson Adenike Abdul-Azeez, Ikoyi Metro President Rotarian Alexander Chukwu, and Rotarin Olufumilayo, alongside other partners committed to protecting every child.

During supportive supervision of the outbreak response Integrated Campaign at Jibdawa, Shiyar Dan Akalle, Waziri A Ward, Sokoto North LGA, a key milestone was achieved, the resolution of a non-compliance (NC) case.
Following this breakthrough, NNPPC Vice Chairman PAG Yakubu Ndanusa personally vaccinated the eligible children, demonstrating the power of dialogue, trust, and persistence in overcoming vaccine hesitancy.

Each resolved non-compliance brings us one step closer to protecting every child and sustaining a polio-free world.
