As the world to marks the 2026 World Youth Skills Day, Bruderhilfe emphasizes the need to equip youth with socio-emotional, leadership, and digital skills to thrive in a changing world. As the world marks the World Rural Development Day today, Bruderhilfe is committed to investing in the lives of rural people, which impacts the foundations of more resilient societies and improved economic developments, in line with the goals of the organization to improve the living conditions of the excluded members of the societies, the less privileged and rural, hard-to-reach communities, with little access to socio-economic development programmes of government and private corporations.

Medical equipment, Supplies & Hospital consumables, as well as Orthopaedic kits were donated to the Igboegunrin Comprehensive Health centre, during the recent Health & Community Development projects implemented by Bruderhilfe, in the Igboegunrin community, Ilaje Local Government area of Ondo State. The donations were given to ensure that the most vulnerable and underprivileged group of persons in the society, resident in the community have access to improved health care.

Residents who were beneficiaries of the medical outreach during the recent Health & Community Development projects implemented by Bruderhilfe, in the Igboegunrin community, Ilaje Local Government area of Ondo State; were also given medicines to treat & manage their health conditions.
The initiative helps bridge the critical healthcare gap for vulnerable population in the rural areas and provides essential, life-saving treatments to those who lack local facilities or financial means, this preventing routine illnesses from becoming fatal.

A Medical outreach was one of the projects implemented during the recent Health & Community Development projects implemented by Bruderhilfe, in the Igboegunrin community, Ilaje Local Government area of Ondo State.
Skilled Medical personnel & professionals conducted Tests for: blood sugar, high blood pressure, malaria, typhoid, venereal diseases and other diseases. There were Referrals for patients with health cases, dispensation of drugs, and sessions to educate residents on the health services available to them and how to properly care for their health, so they are empowered to make informed health decisions and take action to promote and improve public health for themselves and their communities.

Persons with Physical disabilities were among the beneficiaries of the recent Health & Community Development projects implemented by Bruderhilfe, in the Igboegunrin community, Ilaje Local Government area of Ondo State. Wheelchairs, Walkers, Crutches and walking sticks were donated to aid the PWDs in mobility and improve their activeness in society.
The project is under the "Project Inclusive" initiative of the organisation focused on the Empowerment of the physically challenged through provision of Mobility carts, Disability enhancement Aids and life improving services
