Akoko North East Agenda is a dedicated community development group actively working towards the growth, inclusivity, and overall well-being of our community and its people. Our primary objective is to prioritize the social welfare of the community, ensuring social security and enhancing the progressive development of the local economy. We strive to foster unity, harmony, and a stronger peaceful coexistence among the residents.
In the recent MHR bye-election, we actively participated and supported the candidacy of a member of our local government to occupy the vacant position. This involvement in the political process is part of our advocacy efforts aimed at broadening our community's influence in the political hierarchy. By actively participating in such activities, we aim to ensure that the concerns and needs of our community receive the necessary attention and representation at the green chamber.
We invested our resources and efforts into engaging and persuading people to see reasons why we should all support our own son and join our cause. Our aim was not only to fill the vacant MHR position but also to invalidate the derogatory claims made by individuals from other local governments. That "who do we have in Ikare." These claims suggest that we are incapable of making informed decisions for ourselves and that others should decide for us. This narrative undermines our community's worthiness, capability, reputation, and diligence.
Throughout our campaign, we have received unwavering support from our traditional ruler, Kabiesi Olukare Of Ikare, and other traditional ruler in Akoko North East local government, and the entire Ikare community. Their backing has further strengthened our resolve to fight for our rights and representation.
We would like to express our gratitude to all our Political leaders in Akoko North East local Government for their efforts and support in our agitation.
To all the aspirants who have shown interest in the position, we appreciate your willingness to represent our community and contribute to our development.
