In our journey of building people and communities, I have learned one profound truth:

That is not leadership. That is insecurity.

THE ARCHITECTS WE NEVER CELEBRATE ENOUGH

I am not just celebrating teachers today. I am celebrating my first classroom.

I am Olugbesan Adetunji (OAT), Omo Baba Principal - A son of an educator. I grew up not just in a house, but inside a school. I watched my father correct notebooks till midnight, counsel wayward students as his own children, and use his salary to pay another child's school fees. That day I learned: Teaching is not a job, it is a calling that bleeds sacrifice.

Today, the world celebrates teachers, but we have never truly understood their value.

Let me reveal to you the AMAZING FACTS about TEACHERS that will blow your mind:

1. They Are The Only Profession That Creates All Other Professions.

Every Doctor who saves lives, every Lawyer who defends justice, every Engineer who builds bridges, every President who leads a nation - was once shaped by a Teacher. No teacher, No nation.

2. They Teach Without Knowing The Result.

A teacher plants a seed today that may become a forest 20 years from now. They may never see the CEO, the Governor, the Inventor they produced, but they keep planting anyway. That is pure love.

3. Their Chalk Dust Builds Nations.

Before a child holds a ballot, a gun, or a million-dollar cheque, he first held a pencil given by a teacher. What a teacher writes on the blackboard, the nation will live tomorrow.

4. They Are The Masters of Second Chances.

A parent may give up on a child. Society may label him a failure. But a good teacher will say, "Try again, I believe in you." Many of us are still standing today because one teacher refused to give up on us.

5. They Borrow From Their Pain to Fuel Our Future.

Many teachers in Nigeria teach in classrooms without roofs, write on cracked boards, and are owed salaries, yet they still show up with a smile. That is not resilience, that is divinity.

To every teacher reading this - From the Primary school teacher in a remote village in Ogun State teaching under a tree, to the Professor in the University - You are not just important, you are IRREPLACEABLE.

If Farmers feed the nation for a day, Teachers feed the nation for a lifetime.

Today, I, a proud son of a Principal, bow in honor of my father and every teacher who stood in that gap. Your reward may not be in money, but your legacy is in every successful man and woman you produced - including me.

MONDAY REFLECTION: Courage to Begin

"Every great journey begins with a courageous first step. Do not wait until you have everything figured out; sometimes clarity comes only after you begin to move."

Welcome to a new week!

Let me tell you the truth that many won't tell you: You don't need to have it all figured out to start.

Many dreams have died not because they were impossible, but because we waited for perfect conditions. We waited for more money, more time, more connections, more confidence. We waited until the fear left. But fear rarely leaves before you start — courage is not the absence of fear, it is moving despite the fear.

Think about it:
The car headlights don't show you the entire journey, they only show you the next 100 meters. But that is enough to keep driving.

That business you want to start? Start small.
That book you want to write? Write the first page.
That career you want to change? Learn the first skill.
That degree you want to go for? Make the first inquiry.

Motion brings clarity. Many times you will only see the next step AFTER you take the first step. God often doesn't show the full staircase, He only illuminates the first stair — because He wants you to walk by faith, not by sight.

Don't despise small beginnings. Don't let overthinking stop you from doing. The greatest risk is staying in the same place, waiting for a perfect moment that may never come.

This Monday, give yourself permission to begin — imperfectly, afraid, but boldly. Begin with what you have, where you are. The courage you need for step two will come after you take step one.

There is a strength that cannot be explained by human applause.

In a world that celebrates public performance, God is still building private warriors. True strength is not built on the stage, but in the closet. It is born in the secret place — where no camera is watching, where no one is clapping, where tears become prayers, burdens become surrender, and a weary soul discovers that God was closer than it ever realized.

Many are tired not because they are doing too much in public, but because they are doing too little in secret. Your public strength will always be a reflection of your private fellowship. What you do with God behind closed doors determines what God can do through you before men.

This week, I encourage you:
Don't just chase visibility, chase intimacy. Don't just seek answers, seek His presence. Shut the door. Silence the noise. Let Him renew you in the secret place. For there, God exchanges your weakness for His strength.

May your private devotion produce public power. May your quiet time birth loud testimonies.

On October 1st, 1960, we gained freedom. 66 years later, we have learned that a nation is not built by oil, but by people. Not by tribes, but by unity. Not by government alone, but by empowered citizens.

Sometimes you look at your life and you feel like you should be further by now. The delay is loud, the lessons are painful, and the victory seems far.

But hear this today:

Do not judge your entire journey by your present chapter.

You are not late. You are not forgotten. You are in the process. God, the Author and Finisher, has not dropped His pen. He is still shaping you in the quiet, still forming you in the waiting, still polishing you through every delay, every disappointment, every victory, and every season that stretched your faith.

The same God who started this good work in you is faithful to complete it.

So breathe. Trust the Potter's hands. Your present chapter is not your final story. You are STILL BECOMING everything God said you would be.

You are not finished. God is still writing your story.
