And in October, we are coming for her.

In celebration of the INTERNATIONAL MONTH OF THE GIRL CHILD,
DEAF CHILD INITIATIVE will be visiting schools to teach DEAF GIRLS
about Personal Hygiene & Menstrual Health.

We need passionate VOLUNTEERS to make this a success.

Every August, we give them 3 days to feel seen. ❤️

For Deaf children of hearing parents and Hearing children of Deaf parents - CODA, home and school can be lonely. No one understands their language. No one sees their gifts.

This year, Deaf Child Initiative is hosting our FIRST EVER 3Hs SUMMER CAMP 2026
*Heart. Hands. Habits.*

📅 Date: Wed 19th - Fri 21st August 2026
📍 Venue: School for Children with Special Needs, Ijebu-Ode.

For 3 days, they will:
✨ Learn Coding + Vocational Skills
⚽ Play in a Friendly Football Match
👨‍🍳 Cook, Create, and Lead
🗣️ Get Mentorship + Counseling
🤟 Build Confidence through Sign Language

50+ children are waiting. But we can’t do it alone.

You can’t get ALL the methods, but you use what you’ve got and make it count.
I’m tracking this moment. Few years from now, he’ll still remember: “From struggling to smooth.”

One pencil grip changed his whole experience.
I literally changed his handwriting story in one day — gradually.

And now I have proof: I do make use of materials when I get them.
That pencil grip isn’t decoration anymore. It’s going to work.
