Basic Concepts
- Adoptee: Is an individual adopted by the members of the conference to take care of on a regular basis and provide their basic needs
- Rally: Soliciting for contributions b public awareness in a selected location
- Box Banging: Soliciting for contributions in the church premises after a mass or church activity, by hitting the charity box actively.
- Charity Visit: An outdoor activity where a charity home is visited and given relief items.
- Charity Party: A party organized in the school, where homes are invited and celebrated. They are then given relief items to take home.
- Love feast: An activity where members celebrate each other and exchange gifts.
- SVP Careline: A dedicated mobile line, through which members of the conference can make enquires. lay complaints or pass across urgent information to the conference. It is currently (o8 165 1 8594)
- Skill acquisition: A program organized by members to acquire new skills e.g. soap making and Ankara bag making etc.
