Lampese Youths Install Community Signage
..As Oba Maliki Commends Initiative

Lampese - AS part of her civic responsibility and community engagement, the Lampese Youth Association, under the dorminant leadership of Comr Jolly Lucky Bayode and his executive council, has successfully donated and installed three prominent signage boards at key entry points into Lampese community.
The official unveiling of the signboards took place on Wednesday, September 3, 2025, and was led by His Royal Highness, Oba Folaremi Ojo-Maliki, the Onilampese of Lampese Kingdom.
While commissioning the project, Oba Ojo-Maliki praised the youth association for what he described as a “gigantic and visionary project.” He noted that the signage enhances the community’s visibility and identity, while also symbolizing the unity, dedication, and progressive mindset of Lampese youths.
“This project is a shining example of what can be achieved when our youths come together with a common purpose,” the Oba stated. “I encourage you all to continue working together for the greater good of Lampese.”
The monarch further used the platform to preach peace and unity, calling on the youth and all community members to prioritize harmony and collective progress as foundations for sustainable development.
Speaking with Theplatformnews , the National Publicity Secretary of the Lampese Development Association, Comrade Aimanerimi Victor Arogunyo , applauded the initiative. He commended Comrade Bayode and the entire youth body for their commitment, calling the project “groundbreaking.”
“I urge all youths to unite for the collective interest of Lampese,” Arogunyo said.
In his remarks, Comrade Bayode extended heartfelt gratitude to all donors and supporters of the project, stating that their names would hold a special place in the annals of Lampese history. In a reconciliatory tone, he called on all segments of the community to come together in unity.
“This signage project is not just a landmark; it's a symbol of what we can achieve when we are united,” Bayode noted.
The signage installation is part of a broader effort by the current youth leadership to drive sustainable development, community identity, and active youth participation in local growth initiatives.
