This is the official page of the Foundation for Student Mission, a non-profit organization where Christian professionals mobilize Christian students for missions. Our Core Values

A. Exemplary Christian life: You are the light of the world – Mt 5: 14 (Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hid)

B. Professionalism: It is a sin to be a quack! Pr 22:29 (Seest thou a ma

n diligent in his business? he shall stand before kings; he shall not stand before mean men). Dynamism in Christian missions: Christian Missions, a must – Mt 28:19 (Go ye, therefore, and teach ALL NATIONS, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: {make disciples or Christians of all nations})

Our History

May 20, 1995: Inauguration as The Battle Axe Campus Missions at Abeokuta, Nigeria

1996: Evolution of Student Mission Club (student's arm) & The Battle Axe (non-student arm)

2011: Change of name to the Foundation for Student Mission

2013: Change of the name of the non-student arm to The Wise League

THE VISION AND THE GENESIS

The demand of God on this present generation is to raise a great number of virile Christian missionaries and a host of mission-minded believers as partners for these; in seeing the Lord Jesus enthroned in many places of the world. It is quite sad that a great number of Christian students are turned out every session on campuses with little or no understanding of missions. This hitherto reduced the effective workforce for missions. The mandate God gave Foundation for Student Mission is to raise the workforce for mission agencies and mission-oriented churches by mobilizing and equipping Christian students for missions. This is done in conjunction with several mission agencies and mission-oriented churches. It is expected that as the students are exposed and acquainted with various mission works, it will be easier for them to be part of any of these after their graduation. OBJECTIVES OF FSM

a. Mobilizing and equipping Christian students for missions

b. Sustenance of missionary zeal of students on campuses and the non-student members in cities where the campuses are located. Act as a support base for many mission agencies and mission-oriented churches, raising resources for mission works. MEMBERSHIP

Foundation for Student Mission membership cut across many Christian fellowships and denominations. Members are bound together by a burning desire of seeing the whole world evangelized, starting from their ‘Jerusalems’. Membership comprises both students and non-students (from different mission agencies and mission-oriented churches). Non-students act as facilitators for the student-members in a specific area of missions.

REPORT: KWASU GO (Practicum)

We thank God for the successful KWASU GO Practicum of On-Campus Mission School students held from 28th to 30th May, 2026.

A team of 13 students went for the outreach.

We bless God for how the outreach went. We went into the village, evangelised Christ, preached the gospel, and won souls for Him. We also created awareness for the night film show.

We continued in prayer, then held the film show. Afterward, the move of God was evident in the deliverance session. Many people were delivered and chains were broken. There was healing too. A woman with a swollen leg was healed, among many others.

Salvation: More than 20 people gave their lives to Christ, and follow-up was handed over to the Pastor’s church there.

Special Prayer: A special case was brought to us by the pastor of the church there concerning a woman who had been experiencing miscarriages. We prayed for her, and we’re trusting God that in the next 9 months we’ll hear good news.

Every word the Lord spoke concerning this program came to pass.

Finally, we had the medical session, clothing distribution, and counseling session. We bless God for the wonderful things He did on that land.

Thank you, everyone, for your prayers and support. To God be the glory!

Happening today, 27 May 2026, in celebration of Children's Day

The Bible consistently presents the family as a primary channel through which faith, values, wisdom, and blessings are transmitted across generations. Intentional parenting (guided by godly principles, discipline, teaching, and example) is portrayed as a divine responsibility with long-term spiritual and societal impact. Scripture emphasises that when parents intentionally nurture children in righteousness, the effects extend beyond one generation, producing lasting blessings and covenant continuity. In today’s world, where moral confusion, weakened family structures, and social pressures affect child development, there is a growing need to re-emphasise biblical parenting as a tool for generational transformation.

This event is designed to explore and highlight biblical foundations that support generational blessing through intentional parenting. It aims to encourage parents, guardians, churches, and faith communities to consciously raise children according to biblical principles that cultivate godly character, spiritual maturity, and an enduring family legacy.

God bless you as you enjoy this event with your children and share it with other family friends.

Happy Children's Day to our children.
