INTERNATIONAL DAY AGAINST DRUG ABUSE AND ILLICIT TRAFFICKING 2026

Today, June 26, we join the global community in observing the International Day Against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking a reminder that the fight against drug abuse is a shared responsibility.

Drug abuse continues to rob our nation of its greatest asset its young people. It destroys dreams, weakens families, fuels crime, and threatens the peace, security, and prosperity of our communities.

A drug-free youth is the foundation of a secure and prosperous nation. Every young person rescued from addiction is a life restored, a family strengthened, and a brighter future secured.

As leaders, parents, educators, community members, and stakeholders, we must unite to:

- Raise awareness about the dangers of substance abuse.
- Support prevention through education and mentorship.
- Show compassion and encourage recovery for those battling addiction.
- Work together to build safer, healthier, and drug-free communities.

At Dimensional Ambassadors for Leadership and Community Support Network HQ, we reaffirm our commitment to empowering young people with the knowledge, values, and opportunities they need to choose purpose over drugs and leadership over addiction.

The fight against drug abuse cannot be left to government agencies alone it requires collective action from every home, school, faith-based organization, community, and institution.

Together, let us build a generation that is healthy, productive, responsible, and free from the chains of drug abuse.

Say NO to Drugs.
Say YES to Life.
Say YES to Leadership.
Say YES to a Better Future.

🇳🇬 HAPPY DEMOCRACY DAY, NIGERIA! 🇳🇬

Today, we commemorate June 12, a day that symbolizes the resilience of the Nigerian people, the triumph of democratic ideals, and our collective aspiration for a nation founded on freedom, justice, accountability, and the rule of law.

As we celebrate 27 years of uninterrupted democratic governance, we are reminded that democracy is more than elections. It is about active citizenship, responsible leadership, respect for human rights, and the collective pursuit of national development.

While we acknowledge the progress made over the years, we must also reflect on the challenges that remain good governance, insecurity, youth inclusion, economic opportunities, and the strengthening of democratic institutions.

With over 160 million Nigerians under the age of 35, the future of our democracy depends largely on the willingness of young people to engage, participate, lead, and hold institutions accountable.

As an organization committed to leadership development and community transformation, we call on all Nigerians, especially young people, to move beyond the ballot and embrace their responsibilities as active citizens in building the nation we desire.

Together, let us continue to work for a Nigeria where democracy delivers hope, opportunity, justice, and prosperity for all.

Happy Democracy Day!
