Parents and devoted teachers who trained in special education and are therefore trained in this discipline have joined hands to train the children and participants in various life skills, hand work and other activities. At Abishai Vocational Centre we believe everyone in this world is born with a talent which makes each individual different. We have dreams and we work hard to fulfil the same. We live in a symbiosis to achieve our goal, and ultimately this helps the society to run. However, there is a part of the society that is left completely unattended and who need special attention. They are the ones who are unable to think for their own development. They are the ones who are differently able people of the society, who are addressed as mentally and physically challenged people. There is another group who find it difficult to cope with the rigours of conventional academic life and have dropped out from the formal school system.
