OminiraTV is an online video channel that disseminates solutions to contemporary African issues while promoting freedom and prosperity. Our vision is a free and prosperous African society of responsible individuals with respect for human and property rights. To this end, we popularize ideas that favor human freedom; the rule of law; good governance; free markets and entrepreneurship; via new media because we know that ideas gain power when they pass from one person to another. At OminiraTV.com , we know that no one is free when others are oppressed and we believe that the road to prosperity in Africa is the way of freedom. We also share a belief with Thomas Jefferson that all men are created equal…and endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable rights. These rights are what we stand for, in pursuant of an African society where individuals are free, responsible and accountable to the rule of law; a prosperous society. Ominira TV was founded by two young Africans with shared values and a desire to change the world in their own way by standing up for millions of Africans who are oppressed and poor. They wanted proper administration of the rule of law, good governance, respect for human rights and market solutions, so they sought collaboration to find solutions that will increase freedom and prosperity in Africa.
