Angel Wings Global Freedom Foundation is an agent for change and making lives better. Apart from the physically challenged which is our central target; we mentor those struggling with depression, especially the girl child. In Nigeria, it is a popular perception that a child born with physical challenges is either a victim of punishment for some ancestral sin or the machination of some perceived ad
versaries. Our society must move away from these non – scientific perceptions. AWGFF is raised as the platform upon which fresh life will be breathe into souls which might be surrendering hope after debilitating effect of the experience which their peculiar situation had burdened them with. At Angel Wings Global Freedom Foundation, we are task-oriented and driven by people with a common interest. Our NGO perform a variety of service and humanitarian functions, we bring the concerns of persons living with disabilities to Governments, advocate and monitor policies and encourage political participation through provision of information, serve as early warning mechanisms and we are organized around specific issues, such as disability, girl – child education and empowerment, support to persons struggling with depression, human rights, and health related issues as they affect our target group. AWGFF is registered with the Nigerian Corporate Affairs Commission under Part C (Incorporated Trustees) of the Company and Allied Matters Act No. 1 of 1990 with Registration number CAC/IT/NO/84110. At Angel Wings Global Freedom Foundation, we consider highly the needs of our target groups. We also help them break free from all the societal ills that put them down so they can be useful to themselves and the society at large.
