INTRODUCTION AND PREAMBLE
In Nigeria, like other parts of the world the youth constitute 60 percent of the populations but amazing fact that is unique to Nigeria is that 70 percent of these youths are unemployed,or underemployed. this fact has therefore brought with it following attendant problems, crimes, such as Kidnapping, armed robbery, fraud, prostitution with brain drain and drug abuse as s
ide effects. several Governments and civil society groups has done their best to migrate these problems with little or no result. Nigerians can no longer siddon look as the local parlance says. Therefore in 2013 young professionals as of their social and corporate responsibility, decided to join the fight against against Youth unemployment and attendant poverty ravaging the country. Youth Empowerment and Poverty Alleviation Foundation (YEPAF) was therefore birth to do justice to this. its a non-profit making organisation (NGO). MISSION STATEMENT
We will network advocate Nigerians youths, through initiative, partnership and sustainable programs that will bring a drastic change to the statistics of unemployed and unproductive youths in Nigeria. our core values will therefore be (a) Responsibility

(1) To promote empowerment of youths and less privilege in the society. (2) To promote distribution of free subsidized medical care materials to the less privilege in the society. (3) To promote distribution of free or subsidized library equipment to schools. (4) To organize conference, seminar, symposia, lectures. (5) To collaborate with government and donate agencies, corporate bodies and foundation like minds. (6) To help put back some youth to school

(c) Rural training of farmers and women on cassava farming and adding value in Gari production. (d)Training of youths in ona-ara Local Goverment on fish farming and distribution of fingerlings.
