Yesterday, I drove out in the evening to get groceries at the shopping mall in my estate
As I parked at the parking lot, I saw a very beautiful girl sitting at the entrance of the mall, cr.yi.n.g
I decided to wait and see if she was with someone or maybe her partner would turn up or something
To my surprise, nobody showed up or even stopped to co.ns.ole her in the few minutes I sat in my car watching her
Everyone kept walking past and avoiding her as if she had a d.is.ea.s.e
I know there's money scarcity and people are scared to help because of how di.re the situation is, but for ch.ris.s.ak.es, where's our humanity?
I quickly came down from the car and walked up to her, I wanted to put my arms around her and reassure her that she'll be fine
But, I had to tread with caution, so, instead, I spoke gently to her and asked;
"Hi, please what's the matter, why are you c.ry.in.g?"
She completely ignored me and continued cr.yi.ng.
I wanted to mind my business but I just couldn't leave a h.elp.le.ss young lady out on her own

So, I sat beside her quietly, just to let her know that she wasn't alone and wait for her to talk to me at her own time. I wasn't in a hurry, so I had time
"Prince, are you okay?"
It was my neighbor, I saw him walking inside a few minutes earlier, he didn't ask the young lady who was visibly cr.yi.n.g but here he is, asking me if everything was alright
I just forced a smile and nodded
Then he waved and walked away
"I'm sorry about that, do you want to talk about it now?" I said to her because I noticed she had stopped c.ry.in.g
She looked up and faced me, and I almost s.hi.t my pa.n.ts
She was the most beautiful girl I've ever laid eyes on
"Wow, you're so beautiful. I'm sorry, I mean, who h.ur.t someone as beautiful as you?"
"So, you can see me?" She replied
"Of course I can see you, are you invisible?" I smiled
"Prince, are you okay, who are you talking to?" It was my neighbor again
With im.pati.en.ce and ir.ri.tat.ion, I snapped
"Are you b.li.nd, can't you see the young lady c.ry.in.g next to me?"
"Prince, are you h.ig.h, there's nobody there but you. You're talking to yourself."
It was then I felt the go.osebu.m.ps all over my body
I turned to her and she was smiling a very s.ca.ry smile, there were no tears on her face again
"So, Princr, you can see me?"
I s.creame.d and ran with the speed of li.ght.ning to my car
As I started the car and was about to reverse, I turned and saw her sitting in the backseat
"Be careful Princr, I don't want to lo.se the only person that can see me just after finding him."
She was smiling again
