The girl I am, the change I lead!!

From conflict zones to climate disasters, from classrooms to community protests, girls are stepping forward as changemakers, advocates, and leaders.

It's so beautiful to see the sheer brilliance and doggedness with which girls/women are championing change in the world today even when the odds are against us.

We won't relent! Keep going, keep making changes wherever you find yourself.

Yet, far too often, their voices are silenced, their dreams denied, and their rights overlooked.

The girl I am, the change I lead

Happy International Day of the Girl Child 2025

Today, we honor the strength, courage, and brilliance of girls across the globe who are not just surviving — but leading through some of the world’s toughest challenges. From conflict zones to climate disasters, from classrooms to community protests, girls are stepping forward as changemakers, advocates, and leaders.

Yet, far too often, their voices are silenced, their dreams denied, and their rights overlooked.

This year’s theme is a powerful reminder that girls are not victims of circumstance — they are the architects of transformation. But they cannot do it alone. We must listen to them. Invest in their education, health, safety, and leadership. Break the barriers of inequality and fight against gender-based violence, early marriage, and discrimination in all forms.

Girls are not the future — they are the now.

The love you give to others, give even more to yourself, the kindness you show to others, show yourself even more

Today is a reminder: your mental health matters. Be kind to your mind, and to others.
Mental health is just as important as physical health. Let’s break the stigma, one conversation at a time.
