When you persist in your writing journey in spite of how stretching it is, you demonstrate your strength.

Never give up when things aren't working out as you'd like. That is not who you are. Refuse to buy into the any thought that tells you that you lack the necessary skills or abilities.

The process of writing doesn't stop at writing nor is it the core part, editing is. And that can be a bit tasking right?

To make things easier, it is best to leave your work for a bit. Maybe a day or an hour as long as you are just taking a break from it. Then come back to it.

You are wondering what this does right?

Here is what it does; it take the pressure off and removes the familiarity you have with your work. So you will be able to see what you have written in a absolutely new light and even spot errors or see things you can do better.
