OSUN VICTORY: YYC CONGRATULATES ADELEKE, COMMENDS TINUBU’S DEMOCRATIC LEADERSHIP

The Yoruba Youth Council (YYC) congratulates the Governor of Osun State, Senator Ademola Adeleke, on his victory in the August 15, 2026 governorship election.

We commend the people of Osun State for exercising their democratic rights and making their voices heard through the ballot.

YYC also applauds President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for his commitment to democratic principles and respect for the will of the electorate. The peaceful conduct of the Osun election is another indication that Nigeria’s democracy is strengthening.

As we look towards 2027, the outcome of the Osun election demonstrates that respect for the people’s choice, credible electoral processes and democratic leadership remain essential to sustaining public confidence in governance.

We equally commend INEC and the security agencies for their roles in ensuring a peaceful, free, fair and credible electoral process.

Congratulations, Governor Ademola Adeleke. We wish you a successful second term and urge you to use the renewed mandate to deliver greater development and prosperity for the people of Osun State.
