When the devil afflicts you it is to draw you away from God, to make you discredit God so that you think it's God afflicting you.

When God chastises you, it is to mature you and draw you closer to himself but the devil makes it look like God is afflicting you.

Whatever the case, affliction from the devil or chastisement from God. Judge God faithful

FAN OR FANATIC?

A fan is a Christian who loves the good of God but hate to do the will of God. A fanatic is a Christian who loves the will of God.

Fans are the crowed of five thousand and four thousand that was fed when Jesus multiplied bread and fish (Matthew 14:21 & 15:38) Disciples are those present in the storm with the Lord (Matthew 8:24-26)

A fan loves the blessings but hates the disciplines that guarantees the blessings

A fan is a Christian who don't like to pray but wants to enjoy answered prayers

A fan is a Christian who criticised a disciple as being too 'fanatical'

Jesus' crusade was attended by thousands of fans who came to fed, healed, delivered, etc. But at his arrest and Crucifixion only the disciples were present.

Jesus, after his resurrection appeared to over five hundred people at once (1 Corinthian 15:6) most of who were fans, but only 120 fanatics tarried in Jerusalem to wait for the promise (Luke 24:49: Acts 1:4,15)

Jesus at his second coming is coming to take (rapture) the FANATICS

DON'T MISS THE RAPTURE PT III

Christians who'll miss the rapture are those who are not living for the LORD. They rarely or hardly do God's will, they don't take delight in pleasing the LORD, they are their own priority, they are lovers of themselves rather than lovers of God (2 Tim. 3:4)

Another category of Christians that will miss the rapture are those who are not expecting the Lord's second coming, they don't even want to hear about rapture because they don't anticipate or love his appearing

2 Timothy 4:8 Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing.

Any Christian that lives right, when you hear these things your heart is full of joy and then the only thing that you are pained about is about those who don't know Jesus Christ and then that spurs you to pray for them and then to reach out to them and you want to win souls.

If you're born again, live for the LORD, mortify the flesh and it's deeds (Roman 8:13, Colossian 3:5), depart from iniquity (2 Timothy 2:19), win souls for the LORD (Proverbs 11:30, Daniel 12:3). Don't stop at being born again there's lot more to done.

I see God taking you and me and many more in the first flight (rapture) in Jesus name

DON'T MISS THE RAPTURE II

You will definitely miss the rapture if you are part of those who reject the sacrifice that Jesus made on the cross of calvary by not accepting Jesus into your heart as your Lord and Savior

I want to therefore encourage you to receive Jesus into your heart. Believe in your heart that Jesus is LORD and confess with your mouth that God raised him from the dead and you shall be saved (Roman 10:9-10)

While salvation is a fundamental requirement to make the rapture. Salvation alone is not enough to qualify you for rapture.

Jesus made it abundantly clear that there are certain people who are in his kingdom, they have received salvation and are part of His own family who will not inherit the kingdom of God.

Matthew 13:41 The Son of man shall send forth his angels, and they shall gather out of his kingdom all things that offend, and them which do iniquity;
13:42 And shall cast them into a furnace of fire: there shall be wailing and gnashing of teeth.

Jesus said, he will order his angels to gather out of his kingdom those who offend and do iniquity. Jesus is saying that those who are born again but still do iniquity and offensive things will not rapture and reign with him in eternity

I will be concluding on this topic soon....

DON'T MISS THE RAPTURE PT 1

Recently, on social media, I've been coming by the message of the rapture more often, some of the preachers even gave a specific date that the rapture is going to happen. Then, I said to myself, but Jesus said only the Father (Papa God) knows the the day (Mark 13:32). Almost immediately, the Holy Spirit replied my thought; "that's exactly how Noah warned the people of his generation of an impending flood that'll destroy the world, they mocked him and made light of his message".

Noah spent 120 long years building the ark and warning the people. God's word came to pass, He sent the flood but only Noah and his household was saved, all others perished in the flood (See Gen. 6-7:1-23)

Like in the days of Noah when people were marrying, establishing firms, buying real estate, giving birth to children, eating and drinking etc. Until the flood came and destroyed the entire world (Matthew 24:37-39).

Don't be deceived, normal life will continue: investment, marriage, sports, real estate, I mean, it will be business as usual, until suddenly the saints of God will be taken away out of this world

To be continued....

CONTINUE IN PRAYER PT4
Praying with expectation!!

The reason for prayer failure is praying without expecting to receive answers. Make it a habit to pray because you want an answer. Stop praying with the motive of informing God about your situation, he's not ignorant, he knows all things "Matthew 6:32 ..for your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things." He knows your needs, so, pray because you want to receive.

Jesus said in Matthew 7:7, "ask and it shall be given thee". Many are asking but because they're not expectant so they don't receive. Do you ever make a phone call without expecting the person on the other end to answer the call? So, why do you pray without expecting God to answer?

Beloved, don't just pray because it is your religion to pray. Pray and ask to receive. Pray with assurance that God is able to and will grant your requests. As you pray with your mouth, expect with your heart

1 John 5:15 And if we know that he hear us, whatsoever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we desired of him.

Beloved, always pray knowing that God hears you and you'll always get answers to your prayers

Shalom

CONTINUE IN PRAYER PT 3

Your attitude and the way you approach prayer determines the results you get and how much fruit your prayers produce.

It is wrong to pray because you want to inform God about your needs, God already knows your needs "...for your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things." (Matt. 6:32) Don't pray with the motive to persuade God or convince Him to grant your requests, you don't beg in prayer.

Hebrews 4:16 Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.

So, when you pray, approach God as his son or daughter that you are. Carry the consciousness and awareness of who you are in Christ. Sspeak boldly, ask for great things, make demands, and issue decree in Jesus' name "if ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it." (John 14:14). Speak with faith and by faith, God responds to your faith not your emotions (See Mark 11;23-24). You can't use emotions to guilt trip God to receive from him.

Take authority over situations and move mountains in Jesus' name.

CONTINUE IN PRAYER PT.1

You know, some people will say; "Pray so that you won't pray". But na lie!! Jesus said "... Men ought always to pray and not to faint". (Luke 18:1)

Those folks who hold that philosophy meant that if you prayed so hard now, you wouldn't need to pray as hard later, in the future or that you'll be resting from the burden of prayer and not need to bother about praying later on in your life.

But that's not what the word of God says. Romans 12:12 Rejoicing in hope; patient in tribulation; continuing instant in prayer;

Scripture teaches that prayer must be a perpetual continue that is fervent and instant. Jesus continued all night in prayer (Like 6:12). The 120 disciples, while waiting for endowment with the power of the Holy Spirit at Jerusalem, continued in prayer (Acts 1:14). After the Holy Ghost was given to the Church, the early Church continued steadfastly in prayer (Acts 2:42)

Prayer is not what you do because there's a need. Prayer is not heaven's emergency prescription call line (even through it's important to pray for a need or when there's an emergency). Jesus recommend that prayer must be a scheduled program and routine for believers (Matthew 6:6-7).

There'll never be a time when you as a believer won't need to pray. It is the lifestyle and culture of the believer in Christ. Paul the apostle charged the Colossian Church:

Colossians 4:2 Continue in prayer, and watch in the same with thanksgiving;
