OUR DECLARATION
We believe that our lives are not finished simply because we have reached a certain age.
We believe there is still purpose.
There is still growth.
There is still healing.
There is still learning.
There is still work to do.
There are still people to love.
There are still lives to influence.
There are still dreams to fulfil.
There is still a legacy to build.
We believe that God has entrusted every person with something valuable—time, gifts, relationships, knowledge, opportunities, resources and influence.
We will therefore learn to steward them wisely.
We will strengthen our faith.
We will care for our bodies.
We will protect our minds.
We will nurture our relationships.
We will discover and pursue our purpose.
We will work with diligence.
We will manage money wisely.
We will save and invest responsibly.
We will give generously.
We will learn from failure.
We will refuse to be defined by our past.
We will not allow age, failure, disappointment, financial difficulty or yesterday’s mistakes to determine the possibilities of tomorrow.
We will continue becoming.
We will continue serving.
We will continue giving.
We will continue building.
We will continue believing.
We will make the rest of our lives count.
Not merely for ourselves.
Not merely for our families.
But for our communities, our churches, our generation and those who come after us.
Our goal is not simply a longer life.
It is a fuller, wiser, healthier, more purposeful and more fruitful life.
Because the rest of our lives are still God’s gift
