Protecting our boys means more than just keeping them safe from harm. It means building a world where they can grow with courage, kindness, and the freedom to be their true selves. At Protect the Child Foundation, we believe every boy deserves a childhood defined by guidance rather than fear.

Society often tells boys to be tough, to stay silent, and to hide their vulnerability. Today, we challenge those norms. We celebrate the dreamers, the helpers, and the leaders of tomorrow. When we protect a boy's right to an education, a safe home, and emotional support, we aren't just saving a child—we are shaping the future of manhood.

True strength is found in character, empathy, and respect. Let’s commit to listening to their voices, shielding them from exploitation, and showing them that it is okay to ask for help.

To every boy out there: You are seen. You are valued. You are the heartbeat of the future.

Happy International Boys' Day from all of us at Protect the Child Foundation. Together, let’s raise a generation of men who lead with heart.

Happy Workers’ Day! 🇳🇬

Today, we celebrate the strength, resilience, and dedication of every worker across Nigeria — from the streets to the offices, from the classrooms to the frontlines of service.

Your hard work keeps our nation moving forward, even in the face of challenges. You are the builders of dreams, the drivers of change, and the heartbeat of our communities.

At Protect The Child Foundation, we honour not just the work you do, but the impact you make — especially those working tirelessly to protect children, empower women, and support the most vulnerable.

As we mark this Workers’ Day, we call for:
✨ Fair working conditions
✨ Dignity and respect for all workers
✨ Stronger systems that protect and support those who serve

Let today remind us that every effort counts, every voice matters, and every worker deserves to be valued.

Happy Workers’ Day — we celebrate you today and always!

Across Nigeria, civil society organisations are the backbone of hope — delivering services, holding systems accountable, and standing up for the most vulnerable.

But today, that backbone is under pressure.

Economic hardship. Shrinking funding. A shifting global aid landscape.

And yet… we persist.

At the heart of these conversations, Protect The Child Foundation is not just watching — we are present, we are engaged, and we are part of the solution.

Through the sector-wide assessment and the launch of the report titled "Trapped in Fragility an assessment of civil society in Nigeria" by (WACSI Node Nigeria), critical questions are being asked:

What challenges are CSOs really facing?

What support do they urgently need?

How do we strengthen the system so no vulnerable community is left behind?

This is more than research.

This is about survival, sustainability, and impact.

✨ And we are proud that Protect The Child Foundation alongside other International NGOs, CSOs and more are in the room — contributing, learning, and pushing for stronger systems that protect women, children, and vulnerable groups.

Because when civil society is strong, Nigeria is stronger.

Bullying is not “just part of growing up” — it is violence. And today, we said NO more.

On April 17, 2026, Protect The Child Foundation had the privilege of participating in a Stakeholders Consultative Dialogue on Anti-Bullying in Nigerian Schools, convened by International Alert Nigeria.

Represented by Goji Anna Williams our Programmes Coordinator, we joined government ministries, security agencies, international NGOs, and civil society leaders to take a united stand for safer schools.

This was not just a meeting — it was a call to action.

Key resolutions included:

✔ Strengthening the implementation of the national anti-bullying policy across all states

✔ Establishing active anti-bullying structures and safeguarding systems in schools

✔ Integrating psychosocial support and counseling into education

✔ Training teachers and stakeholders on child protection and prevention

At Protect The Child Foundation, this is the work we do every day — from classrooms in Abuja to communities in Kogi and Nasarawa states.

Because every child deserves to learn without fear, without shame, without harm.

This is how change begins. This is how systems shift. This is how we protect children.

👉 Join the movement.

🎉 We don’t just protect women and children… we celebrate the people who make it possible.

The past few days have been filled with joy, laughter, and heartfelt moments at Protect The Child Foundation as we celebrated the birthdays of some of our incredible team members.

At Protect The Child Foundation, we believe in a culture where people are seen, valued, and celebrated—not just for what they do, but for who they are.

Behind every child protected, every voice amplified, and every life impacted… there are committed individuals giving their time, energy, and heart to this cause.

Their dedication and unwavering support are a big part of why we are able to create real impact in the lives of women and children.

Today, we celebrate them. We honour them. And we say thank you for choosing to stand for something bigger.

💙 Because when we take care of our people, they change the world.
Happy birthday

Yesterday was a powerful reminder that the work we do matters.

The Protect The Child Foundation team had the honour of receiving the team, who took time to appreciate our efforts in advancing the rights of women and children. Moments like this reaffirm our commitment to building a safer world for every child.

Their kind donation of Tiger Choco Mayonnaise is more than a gift—it is nourishment, dignity, and a reminder that someone cares. For many families, it means more than just food—it helps make meals more nutritious, more enjoyable, and more accessible, especially for children.

Because creating a safe world for children is not a one-man job—it takes all of us.
