Topic: Destiny Wasting Sins (Sins that leads to death)
Text: 1 John 5:16-18 NIV
If you see any brother or sister commit a sin that does not lead to death, you should pray and God will give them life. I refer to those whose sin does not lead to death. There is a sin that leads to death. I am not saying that you should pray about that. All wrongdoing is sin, and there is sin that does not lead to death. We know that anyone born of God does not continue to sin; the One who was born of God keeps them safe, and the evil one cannot harm them.
Definition of 'Sins that leads to death'. The Death here refers to spiritual death, and could also lead to physical death. The kind of Sins that leads to death are deliberate, and continuous acts in a particular sin.
So, the Sins I will mention that can waste the destiny of a man are sins in the category that leads to death.
I must say, I am not here to glorify the devil, so, detoxify your mind of the belief that if you 'fall' into any of such sins that the devil can capitalize on them to waste your destiny. He doesn't have the ability to do so. Yet, he has the ability to constantly feed your appetite with such sins till it produces death in you.
That is why John says that 'anyone born of God does not continue to sin. Because the One born of God keeps them safe.' (1 John 5:18) So, if you fall into such sins, Jesus advocates on your behalf to keep you safe, hence you won't die because you are protected from the evil one, and cannot be harmed by him. (The devil)
But, when you continue to commit these sins, the evil one then has a hold on you and through that hold, he produce death. Which is what we are referring to as sins that leads to death.
S*xual Sins: Every other sins do not affect the body, but s*xual sin does. S*xual sins gives the partner access into your soul, and leaves you vulnerable to the spirits each one carries. God also designed s*x as a method of covenant union. S*xual sins entangles you into a covenant with the person it is being committed with. S*x is also an act of worship meant to bring pleasure to one another, but ultimately to God. So, if God is removed from the equation of any s*xual practice, demons automatically feed on your pleasure. Don't forget that spirits blesses after a season of worship. This is even with God, 'if you worship me I will bless...' I believe that statement sounds familiar with God’s sayings. So, if worship is given to a contrary spirit, they also bless (curse).
This has led to so many wasted destinies. A young man came to my office, and in the course of counseling him, I discovered he was a vibrant believer who had the zeal for God’s work. He had gone as far as heading and pasturing churches. But there was no trace of such history in his present life. The Holy Spirit pointed out that there was a demon resident in him, so I immediately asked to pray for him. As I commanded, he manifested as a snake, the demons continued to scream 'he is mine'. The Holy Spirit further exposed to me how they got access into him. It was through s*xual sin. He got bombarded with a lot of ladies on campus, and after a while he couldn't resist anymore so he succumb and began to have s*x with ladies. As I proceeded to confront the demons that how they entered has been exposed, so they must leave by the authority in the name of Jesus. To my surprise the demon screamed 'his destiny was too hot, I saw his light, and I sent my daughters to cage him'.
So, s*x is beyond pleasure, s*x is a strategic attack even employed by God to bring a man into His fullness. But the devil uses this to waste and destroy destinies. So, the girls brother thought were in love, where simply agents of darkness, and in some cases, unbelievers being manipulated by the devil. Remember this, "every unbeliever is a potential witch or wizard, they can be used by the devil at any time."
S*xual sin's', so I do not only mean fornication, I also mean Adultery, Po*******hy, Ma********on, In**st, Homos*xuality, Lesbianism, etc. Even the one known as Sugar daddy and Mummy s*x satisfaction. These s*xual sins waste destinies and lead to death, both spiritual and physical.
Proverbs 5:3-9 NIV
For the lips of the adulterous woman drip honey, and her speech is smoother than oil; but in the end she is bitter as gall, sharp as a double-edged sword. Her feet go down to death; her steps lead straight to the grave. She gives no thought to the way of life; her paths wander aimlessly, but she does not know it. Now then, my sons, listen to me; do not turn aside from what I say. Keep to a path far from her, do not go near the door of her house, lest you lose your honor to others and your dignity to one who is cruel,
Galatians 5:19, 21 NIV
Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness,... of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God.
1 Thessalonians 4:3-4 NIV
It is God’s will that you should be sanctified: that you should avoid s*xual immorality; that each of you should learn to control your own body in a way that is holy and honorable.
In summary, s*xual sins are powerful tools in the hands of the devil to waste destinies, and to introduce death into the spirit, soul and body of a man. So, when you deliberately, and continuously partake in such sins, John says that it leads to death, and he even suggests that we shouldn’t pray for such people. This is if they still want to continue in such sin. If they continue despite the warnings ⚠️ of God, scripture says that they are not born of God, because anyone born of God does not continue to sin.
But if you genuinely want to be free, and regain God’s life, John says I should pray for you and God will give you life. Here is the final testimony of the brother who came to my office, the demons were cast out, and he also was refilled with the Holy Spirit instantly with the evidence of speaking in tongue. God gave him life. So, He can give you life too.

Don’t wait until it produces physical death. God can give life now to your dead spirit.
