Here's to partnerships!! 🥂🍻.

The Little Leaders Foundation and it's Big Sisters and Brothers partnered with our even bigger brothers for this one.

Mr. Jide represented the organization and took the session on awareness of Gender Based Violence and the available options for child protection. He let these beautiful girls know what to look out for so they can tell and make an escape when they are being preyed on, and just in case they had already been broken- there was still hope for them to heal and be protected moving forward.

There was rapt attention, a little bit of tension, a lot of shyness but a whole lot of taking notes. On this stop in our secondary school tour, we were able to let them know that someone out there is thinking about their safety and wants them to be alright just as much as they wanted it for themselves. And it was beautiful to see from both sides ✨✨

The most important thing isn't the "what?" but the "why?" If we can help them get their "why?" right, the "what" will fall into place. So that whatever they choose will be done for the right reasons. Whether being a Politician, Ambassador or Neurosurgeon.

We are storming Federal Government Girls College, Gusau this morning and we can't wait to share with you the prospects that exist in the girls of our nation. Thank you for the support so far, we are still open to more, and stay tuned!!

Read each Slide Carefully...

Did you know this?? And if you did, what will you do about it??

Girls are always asked, "is this what you will do in your husband's house?"

But it's not a common phrase to ask a boy, "is this how you will treat your wife?"

So why are we expecting any different? It doesn't matter less because it happened to a boy, in fact- it matters just as much!

Let's rally round the Boy Child. He matters too, he feels too, he makes mistakes too, and the man he becomes wasn't born with him, he is made.

It wasn't only the girls that got big sisters, the boys also got big brothers!!

At Little Leaders Foundation, we know and believe that neglecting the boy child contributes very greatly to the kind of negative statistics we find in men today. You didn't teach him what it means to be a man, much less a good man, why do you expect so much from him now that he's grown? What is the justification for this pressure?

The Boy child requires protection too, and when you help put a man together, you put his world back together.

From writing the vision and making it plain, to organizing, planning, training and eventually making it happen. People sacrificed, people lost sleep people gave and people showed up.

We are taking it all back to beginning, back to the foundation on which every purpose, business and enterprise is built- the "Why?"

We no longer want children to make decisions because they feel good, or because other people have said it is good. We want them to understand that they get to do this for themselves, for their own future, to build the kind of life they desire and find the fulfillment meant for only him or her.
