HUCOMDEF and Aseel Technology Corporation Sign Strategic Memorandum of Understanding to Strengthen Humanitarian and Community Development Efforts in Nigeria
Humanity and Community Development Foundation (HUCOMDEF) is pleased to announce the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Aseel Technology Corporation, a United States–based impact-driven technology platform, marking the beginning of a strategic partnership aimed at enhancing humanitarian response, transparency, and sustainable community development in Nigeria.
The MOU, signed on 20 January 2026, establishes a collaborative framework through which Aseel will provide up to USD 50,000 worth of in-kind technical and software support to HUCOMDEF through its innovative AidOS (Aid Operating System) platform. This partnership is designed to strengthen HUCOMDEF’s capacity in fundraising, donor engagement, beneficiary identification, data management, and last-mile aid delivery.
Through this agreement, HUCOMDEF will be onboarded onto the AidOS platform, benefiting from tailored nonprofit assessments, digital fundraising tools, campaign management systems, and technical support to improve operational efficiency and accountability. The collaboration also aims to support HUCOMDEF in expanding its reach to individual donors, foundations, and institutional partners, while ensuring transparent and traceable humanitarian assistance to vulnerable communities.
Aseel Technology Corporation brings extensive experience in leveraging financial technology and digital infrastructure to empower nonprofits and underserved populations globally.
Speaking on the partnership, Dalhatu Musa Liman, Executive Director of HUCOMDEF, described the agreement as a significant milestone for the organization:
“This partnership with Aseel represents a major step forward in our commitment to transparency, innovation, and impact-driven humanitarian work. By adopting advanced digital systems through AidOS, we are better positioned to scale our interventions, strengthen donor confidence, and ensure that support reaches those who need it most.”
Both parties emphasized that the MOU is non-binding and does not constitute a funding contract, but rather reflects a shared commitment to collaboration, ethical practice, and mutual support in achieving humanitarian and development goals.
The agreement will remain effective for an initial period of one year, with opportunities for review, learning, and potential expansion of cooperation based on shared objectives and impact outcomes.
