On the lingering issue between ASUU and FG, Zamfara Youth Advocates for Development (ZAMYAD) wishes to express its dissatisfactions and disappointments on how the duo handle the most sacred affair (education) in Nigeria. And also use the opportunity to remind the Nigerian students on the importance of keeping away from taking side in this squabble.

Note the two arguers are in positions of parents and respected teachers. Therefore, students are hereby advice to sit on the fence and watch as the falling out lasts. It is equally important for wise students to take to streets (peaceful protest) as a means of bringing both ASUU and FG to the real negotiation table.

ZAMYAD commends Zamfara State Government and Nigeria Security Agencies on the war against Banditry.

Following the Zamfara State Government ban on operations of local markets and sell of petroleum products by the black marketers and the recent shutdown of telecommunication sites in the state by Nigeria Communication Commission, ZAMYAD is closely following developments being recorded by the Nigeria Security Agencies especially the Nigeria Army and Nigeria Airforce, in the war against Banditry in the State.

It is gathered that, few days after the ban on operations of local markets and sell of petroleum products by black marketers, Bandits in the state, dwelled on deep state of confusion on how to keep bone and soul together. They were hit by terrible shortage of foodstuffs and other goods use for daily consumption and activities.

Since the enforcement of the ban on local markets and shutdown of telecommunication sites in the state, News about the successes of our Gallant Army officers and their counterparts dominates our daily conservations.

It is with the above developments, ZAMYAD writes to commend the efforts of Zamfara State Government, Nigerian Army, Nigeria Airforce, Department of State Service and all security stakeholders involved in the fight agaisnt Banditry and Insecurity within the State and Nigeria at large. We at ZAMYAD, continue to pray for your successes and protection from Almighty Allah. And may Allah SWT bless you all.
