Today, we remember.
Not just the children of Soweto who dared to speak…
But every African child who still dares to dream,
in dusty classrooms, under mango trees,
in crowded cities and forgotten villages.

We see you
The girl with stars in her eyes but no pads in her bag.
The boy with dreams taller than his father’s cane field.
The child who carries water and hope in equal measure.

You are not invisible.
You are not voiceless.
You are the heartbeat of Africa.
The sunrise we fight for.
The reason we rise.

At Ray of Hope Empowerment Foundation,

How long will innocent men, women, and children continue to be sl@ughtered in cold bl@ by herdsmen and unknown gụ́nmen?

How many lives must be lost before urgent action is taken?

💔 These are not just numbers they are fathers, mothers, children, brothers, and sisters. Dreams cut short. Lives destro¥ed. Homes turned to ashes.

We call on the Federal and State Governments, security agencies, and all responsible stakeholders to rise up and defend the lives and dignity of every Nigerian. This is no longer a local issue it is a national tragedy.

World Day Against Child Labour – A Ray of Hope for Every Child.

Today, we raise our voices for the voiceless.
At Ray Of Hope Empowerment Foundation, we join the world in marking June 12 World Day Against Child Labour a powerful reminder that no child should have to trade dreams for survival.

Across the globe, millions of children are still trapped in labour denied education, robbed of joy, and burdened with responsibilities far beyond their years. These are children who should be in school, not in sweatshops. Children who should be playing, not working. Children who should be growing, not grieving.

Childhood is not a privilege, it is a right.
And at Ray Of Hope, we believe that right must be protected at all costs.

This year’s call, “Let’s act on our commitments: End Child Labour!”, echoes the heartbeat of our mission — to build safe spaces, promote access to education, empower families, and break the cycles that keep children in chains.
