elopment challenges that affect key vulnerable groups (Women and girls, Youths, Communities, Decision Makers) and project implementation issues in the Nigerian society. Premised on 1 Kings 17, the Founder received the organization as a God-given idea, to show forth His love and concern for the people we are sent to, and to bring about His purposes and values of love, respect, fairness, empowerment etc., to the people, the sector, and society. Although registered and established in November 2017, the timing for preparation of operations only became possible 2019 till date during which the organization has focused on laying foundation. Set out in its Strategic Plan 2020 - 2025, Zarephath,, under its programme areas of: Gender Based Violence (GBV), Women Empowerment, Youth Development, Community Development, and Governance and Delivery of Development Projects, will focus its activities among others on:
-Improving data to show multi-generational nature of prevalence, so as to inform policy on measures for prevention, and prosecution, whilst also increasing a society wide zero tolerance for the menace;
-Rights education and awareness creation campaign of existing GBV laws and policies
-Resource Creation/Enhancement for Widows;
-Self and career development, as well as vocational and skills development programmes for youths;
-Partnerships;
-Community needs assessment and programming. Zarephath’s approach in meeting the needs of its primary targets will focus on uncovering root causes and underlying issues, so real transformative change and impact, is achieved. Zarephath Aloite Initiative, is a non-governmental organization, (NGO), registered under the Corporate Affairs Commission Companies and Allied Matters Act (CAMA) Cap.
